This result is totally unexpected and greatly disappointing.

I had expected at least 2 weeks in the Top 40 and a possible further 3 in the Top 75.

To be honest I am completely not interested in this release. I thought it was a bad idea from the start and then the delay because of her billionth pregnancy didn't help either.

 

What do we think will happen sooner, a new baby or a new album?

I’m not surprised it’s not Top 100 she hasn’t exactly promoted it hard has she? (Appreciate she has a young family etc.,) - Id guess most people don’t even know it’s even been released tbh.

I don't know if it's that unexpected, although I thought she'd probably fall out of the top 75.

 

It did fall sharply throughout the week and was barely even selling by Friday, so I knew it wouldn't hold up.

Sophie was the only old school artist not to follow the bundle trend !! Good on her .

Well there’s been no promotion so not totally surprising it’s dropped steeply.

 

Sophie celebrated her birthday with an instagram live mini gig from her kitchen! Love how she's singing along with a kid on her arm, queen of multitasking. :lol:

These installments of her kitchen disco on Instagram have really brought some much needed joy and sparkle to otherwise dull Fridays.

 

She's such a delight. :wub:

I remember she did that cover for R2 a few years ago, it works surprisingly well! Similarly to how her Arcade Fire cover does.

 

I love how she's doing 'Take Me Home' every week!
