If they do go to Aus I hope the crowd is wild !! As the crowds in the UK were so epic last year.

The Madonna and Cher DVD’s filmed in Aus which I have make the crowd seem very tame.

I honestly hope they do Stadiums and do the big ones in Aus plus a couple in NZ at least!
It was very tough to get good tickets to most dates in the UK last year. Took me 45 minutes and 4 devices to get decent tickets for Coventry.

It was honestly the most stressfull ticket-buying experience I ever had

How many UK dates do you think they will do ?

Slightly less than last time ? I guess lots of people won’t want to go again ?

- How much time was there between the announcement of the tour and tickets going on sale?

- What time did tickets go on sale?

- Were you able to buy a ticket to your nearest or preferred location?

- Which type of internet connection did you use?

(Broadband/ADSL, fibre to the node, fibre to the curb, fibre to the building, mobile 4G, fixed wireless, wi-fi, satellite, hybrid fibre-coaxial)

My only web access at home, is my phone with 4G coverage with a speed/rate of: 16 to 21 mbps.

The local public library have fixed line NBN internet for their desktop computers. But with making any purchases online in a public area, you need to be aware of any internet and financial security risks and if the ticket seller's website is secure as well.

- I could take my notebook there, but the public/shared wi-fi speed/rate would be slower.

They would need to do a proper leg or tour of Aus. Not do only 1 concert in Sydney, as was planned for their 2008 Tour before the tour date was cancelled.

Sydney and Melbourne tour dates can sell out for many concerts.

One concert per region won't cover the costs, I don't know what they're thinking in 2007-2008.
2007 they never announced actual dates just listed places they would like to go or intended to go. They only mention London once and not Manchester in the same video.

Regarding Australian Rules Football, the AFL have resumed the 2020 premiership season. But there are only very small crowds allowed at Queensland venues. Western Australia will soon host an intrastate derby with only half of the 60,000 ground capacity (Optus Stadium, Perth) allowed.

And due to a current second wave in Victoria (where 10 of the 18 clubs) are located. They will have to move into hubs in other states and territories, in order to continue competing.

Some state and territory borders are still closed.

I would suggest at least 7 to 9 concerts in Australia across at least 5 major cities. (Syd/Mel x 2 or 3 each, Bris/Per/Ade x 1 or 2 each.)

I don't know if they intend to also tour: New Zealand, South Africa, Brazil and Argentina.

Many (though not all) bands and groups that tour Australia, only visit the mainland east coast. (Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane)

If it wasn't for this pandemic would the Spice Girls be even considering or planning an international/world-wide tour in the next year or so? (Other than 2021 being their 25th anniversary, and to spread positivity, if you don't include 1994 and 95, before their first recordings were released to the public.)

Apparently, ABBA are planning to release new music and songs this year.

It would be really impressive if they do that many. Do big acts like that usually do as many stadium shows over there? If so GREAT but I struggle to believe similar numbers as last years in the UK as the population of Australia is much smaller...

They had gigs booked December 2020 for Australia that were to be announced April just gone.

I assume since it got pushed back they felt there was an oppurtunity to do more and add a UK leg back in given it will be 2 years since the last.

Australia, has a population of 25 million, compared to the UK with 66 million. Depending on the band/group and interest from fans, some concerts may sell out (particularly in Australia's two largest cities - Sydney and Melbourne.)

I was using other performers and their tour schedules from the last decade as a guide.

(Pink, Katy Perry, Taylor Swift, Ed Sheeran, The Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Paul McCartney)

Pink has done a lot of concerts (major mainland cities) during past tours here.

The Red Hot Chilli Peppers even came to Tasmania for the first time and did 1 gig during their last Aus tour.

Who had gigs booked in Aus?

I wasn't aware of anything official booked by the Spice Girls.

After Mel B failed to consult with the others first and blurted it out at the conclusion of last year's tour. Geri wasn't interested in travelling abroad to tour as she wanted to be with her children.

And whether there was tension with Mel B, after comments made by her about apparent past shared actions.

Was that tour ever confirmed to take place? It seemed quite odd tbh

This has all come about because Geri came back on board they booked Australia again (for December 2020) and an announcement was coming in April. It inevitably got pushed back and it now lands on their 25th anniversary year. More offers came in as tour promoters are desperate to make up for this year next and it has grown into a world tour. They are confident they can do the UK again and Asia stadiums with Australia.

Brazil and the US are up in the air.

If all goes to plan you will get the announcement in September if not by November latest. If you want a look at what a spice girls stadium tour in Australia will look like check Queen and Adam Lambert stadium tour their February this year.

Obviously you don't have to believe me but coronavirus dependant we are a couple of months off an announcement.

I know it seems hard to believe but Ellie Goulding tickets went on sale this morning and Lady Gaga tickets for her stadium shows next year are on sale too.

They have to do South America !! They will find a better crowd !

Their stage won’t fit into arenas. That’s never going to happen.

It will be stadiums

Paperback version of Spice Girls by Sean Smith has a different cover:

Released 6th August 2020

Which order of countries/continents (earlier to later) do you think a future international tour would look like?

TBH technically this would be a new tour so they can revisit the staging
