Well, Victoria has a son named Brooklyn, and Mel B has a daughter named Phoenix.

Could there one day be a Baby Bunton named after a location somewhere?

Weren't both Victoria and Mel B in the early stages of pregnancy with their eldest children during the girls 1998 tour?

Harry and Meghan announced they were expecting a child when they toured Aus in 2018, when much of the British media were absent.

Emma isn't having another child, she is flogging nappies she isn't going to say 'nah don't want anymore kids can't be bothered with that anymore'.

She has endometriosis so was lucky to conceive and have 2 healthy children already at 44 she would be seriously pushing it trying to get pregnant again any way.

I believe that's the one and only time I've ever liked a Kim K post lol

Shame she didn't tag any of the girls Instagram accounts. They tagged themselves

Anyone see Emma's post of them celebrating Wannabe going to number 1 in the US from early 97 and saying it was them celebrating after a gig touring. It is almost like they have a WW tour to push soon hopefully ;)
I have no idea what's exactly "Spice Girls" about this Kim post, but anyhow, she probably just wants attention like with everything else she does..

America has a long way to go in suppressing and controlling COVID-19 cases there. You would think if very lucky, any international tour annoucement may be November or December at the earliest. You hope Trump gets booted out of office in November and leaves in mid January. Very uncertain times.

America, Brazil, South Africa, and the UK are in the top 10 countries for the number of cases.

Melburnians in Aus, are in lockdown for 6 weeks and have to wear face masks in public from Thursday. New cases interstate, have been recorded in Sydney.

An amateur sing-a-long choir (no auditions) in my city, has announced a date for one of their weekly sessions in August to be: Greatest Girl Groups. It's going to include sheet music by the Spice Girls. It hasn't been announced by the choir organisers which Spice Girls song they will choose. I have a hunch it may be Wannabe. I managed to buy a ticket. Only 32 are available online to buy in advance for a particular session (of a different topic), with 19 remaining before I bought one.

Melanie C acknowledges the disappointment over there not being a filmed DVD for the 2019 tour:

Besides, the band realised too late they should have filmed the 2019 tour for posterity.

"We shied away from having a DVD, because people came from all over the world and they saved and they spent all this money to see us, so there's part of you that wants it to be a unique experience, this magical moment in time.

"But so many people have been upset about it - and we are too, actually, because it'd be lovely just to look back and enjoy it all over again.

"So hopefully, if we get our act together, we'll make another time to get up there and get it recorded properly."

(Kind of strange that the fanbase’s annoyance and constant questions about the 2007/8 tour not being released on DVD wasn’t enough for them to realise it should be done in 2019, lol)

To me, this sounds like a cop out. I think they had all the intentions of continuing the tour and thus would have done a proper recording later. When that international tour was cancelled, they just didnt get around to do it of course.

I also hope they will change some of the staging/set list if they do more touring, and yes it will be a bit of a shame to not have proper recordings of the shows last year. Ah well...

I've thought that too, actually. To me...the setlist of the tour seems to have been created with an international audience in mind...with decisions like the exclusion of any solo songs. I don't live there, but my guess is a strictly UK audience would actually know I Turn To You better than, say, Something Kinda Funny. But that wouldn't be the case in the US. So. If the plan is to tour other parts of the world...I guess you wouldn't record one of the earliest dates of the experience.

That's one theory. I've also wondered if Geri might have possibly discouraged the idea of a DVD. She was clearly not comfortable on stage for parts of the tour. Would a professionally filmed DVD have put that under the microscope? I admit that's sheer speculation based on nothing, though.

And yes, I've also wondered if we'll be getting the same show if they resume. By that point, it will have been two years after the original dates (at the very least). Does it seem like changes should be necessary? I've seen Janet Jackson a few times in the last few years...who seems to keep a lot of elements of her show but makes little tweaks here and there. I rather like the Spice tour, though in a perfect world, I'd kinda like to see them actually perform Move Over (it seems to be remembered well enough). It'd also be nice to abandon We Are Family so the whole show can be originals...and perhaps replace it with a quick little medley of fan favorites? (Right Back At Ya, If You Wanna Have Some Fun, Step To Me, etc...?...)

Def a cop out wanting fans to have a unique experience!!

Whatever !!

I too think she is fibbing there.

She was asked enough times about a DVD between 2008 and 2019 to know the fans wanted it badly.

Wembley Stadium was also the obvious gig to film.

Oh well.

Which year was a proposed or intended international tour cancelled?

How would they change their concerts for foreign audiences?

(Only some songs, and other features?)

If things don't improve enough by late this year or early next year, do you reckon 2022 could be a possibility for a tour?

Slightly off topic, but this is an account of how Taylor Swift's latest album became so damn popular overnight.

I think it teaches a lot of lessons on how to create continous interest from a megastar into a surprise release.

Personally, I think the Spice Girls could learn a lot from this approach. Create intimacy and content for your fans to be constantly engaged and interested. But also, be wide'reaching with the content. Create delux versions, multiple covers, multiple items, as well as keeping it personal.

Furthermore, utilize as much as you can from a single photoshoot. This is the killer for me. It's something they really need to change and something they REALLY need to get better at. Last year's tour had ONE image shared continuously for all promo - what the f***?!

Anyway, this is a great read:

To do this they would need to actually want to launch an album though... so sadly no

Sure thing. It's just that they keep suggesting that they would be scared about it being up to the standard of previous material but also commercial success in the new era. Here is a pathway for them to look into if they want to have success nowadays.

About the quality of the material though, that's on them to make sure it's of the standard eheh

But just IMAGINE that we would get a promo launch as inventive as even Mel C's latest one?! That would be such a dream :w00t:
