I hope for all sorts of exciting things (I love the idea of: unreleased songs / deluxe albums / anthology release / a coffee table book with 25 years of photographs & commentary / singles box set on 7” vinyl! / TV & online interviews in person & in depth articles), but at the same time I feel like I should keep expectations low to avoid disappointment.

 

I would quite like if they did a streaming concert similar to Kylie/Dua Lipa. Tours are so far away. I think they could do well with an online event like that. I feel like them doing this would be unlikely though.

:lol: I shouldn't laugh because this is actually very likely, and very sad but I did lol!

 

I really hope we get Feed Your Love and Likely Stories this year. They are the most well known unreleased tracks after Woman. Biff has posted on Instagram in the past it's the song that got away. Likely Stories was registered in November 2020 by Biff's new publisher, Concord Sounds.

 

I also hope they official release the demo of Wannabe. In hindsight it's weird they didn't release it on the Stop single as a b-side. Many fans would have recognized the demo as it was used in the Spice World movie.

 

I also hope they release the demo of Say You'll Be There so we can listen to the full version of Mel B's rap in HQ.

That would be rude. 25 is a big one, I hope they're aware they're the biggest girl group ever and know how to behave like one.

Jack Williamson on spice circle has hinted that they are planning a sort of one hour of girl power volume 2 or goggle box style thing for Wannabe's anniversary. Jack is very well connected, he worked at Universal and still works in the industry. If he is saying it then I'd say it is planned (obviously coronavirus could still put a spanner in the works).

 

How would we feel about that? I'm assuming it is why Victoria is on board as its not performing.

Put lots of old clips, performances, interviews and iconic moments on YouTube the week Wannabe is 25 and when the C4 doc airs also. Push the streaming and a coffee table book would be nice too.

Would be great if they were together doing that too, although that would really be conditioned to the restrictions in place at the time due to the pandemic but hope so!!

I guess it wouldn't have to be filmed until late May or early June which by then I'm sure having them together for something work related would be fine.

 

It would suit Victoria I'm sure being something she can get involved in but sort of feel like it's still in her past. She comments on her Spice Girls days looks, videos and Spiceworld the movie in interviews already so it's not too much more than that.

 

I'd guess it would be pretty cheap to make too and maybe they can sell it to a streaming service or TV channel. I'd hope it would be one of a few things though not the only thing. If they get all 5 together make a day of it. Do a new photo shoot with various outfits, do a sit down interview with someone, the goggle box style show, sign a load of Wannabe vinyls and record a performance of them singing a song. It could all be done in a day I'm sure.

I would absolutely love this 😍 really hope it is true! Could see channel 4 potentially picking it up as it fits with their gogglebox type show and they also have the documentary to show too!

I've always wanted to see them do a commentary for Spiceworld.

Melanie C just confirmed that the girls were never asked to do Glastonbury! She was quite straight forward about it, it's clear there were never talks about it from her answer, to me at least...

 

She does say they would kill to do it, so at least that door is open :coffee:

 

 

 

Also, she clearly will never sing On The Horizon again :arrr:

- Maybe is her favourite Emma song (TASTE!) She was really complimentary of Emma's music vibe.

 

- She was really lovely about the Spice Girls fans. We are loyal to her, the girls and each other. she is really proud of us, lots of stories about relationships and couples that came from the girls fandom.

Mel C is calling Emma a liar then because Emma confirmed on Zoe Ball's radio 2 show in 2019 they had been offered to perform at Glastonbury that year.

 

I would think Mel C has probably been told to play dumb about Glastonbury in case it happens next year now.

 

I mean it was Mel C herself who in the private Q&A she did in person that Victoria was up for doing Glastonbury. I highly doubt that got to the stage of asking Victoria unless there was an offer on the table.

 

My guess is after they turned down 2019 they probably told the bookers that 2021 would be perfect being 25th anniversary year and we're probably signed on to do it this year before it got cancelled. I mean Mel B had no reason to say Glastonbury was cancelled before the announcement unless she had been told it and their performance was cancelled/postponed.
