ANYWAY I love Little Mix and got all emotional for them. Good on them, it is so well deserved

Preaaach Mr.X and Spice Girls Net

Spice being snubbed was a shame, given how it went onto become the best selling girl group of all time, in fact one of the best selling albums of all time period... but at least they got some other incredible nominations. 1998 Brits though... not getting noms for best group, best album or best single was a huge and seemingly deliberate snub. I remember at the time that the award they was regarded by some like it was a consolation prize.

Geri sent flowers to Perrie congratulating her and thanking her for the shout out. Love to see this support

That's lovely of Geri

They were totally snubbed in 1998 and 1999 and yes that Album Sales award was a consolation to get them to attend and perform... Sexism and snobism played a part in that! I could image that the Brits couldnt possible have had TWO girlbands nominated for best Group and Single could they?!

Announcement: we're releasing a new vinyl of Spice!

Intriguing... but I also feel like if something major is happening, wouldn't Spice Girls official accounts be hyping it up, rather than a fan?
It's going to be very embarrassing for the girls if they don't milk the fans this year. The Sugababes One Touch anniversary track list is amazing. I hope we get something similar.
Will the girls announce a tour with posh on the anniversary?

No.

Will the girls announce a tour with posh on the anniversary?

I wish! I also wish I could win millions on the lottery and I think that is more likely to happen.

Hopefully they announce the pre-order of the Spice reissue on July 8. A tour announcement probably won't happen until October or November, which would be perfect timing with the reissue of Spice.

Yeah they could totally do it asap as to get as much leading time as possible! Hope they really commit to giving us something truly special this time :w00t:

ps. no more 'friendship bracelets' or re-releasing the same remixes we already have please!! We need new stuff to play with and discover :cheer:

Off the top of my head we should at least get:

Wannabe (Demo) - heard in Spice World movie

Say You'll Be There (Full Length Version) - includes Mel B's full rap

Feed Your Love

Likely Stories

Step To Me

Strong Enough - mixed and mastered

Edited by Sideout

Feed Your Love would be a lovely addition as from that tiny clip heard it seems very reminiscent of the Naked sound.

I think UMC will tack Wannabe onto the Spice physical bundle. It's being done a lot now, Sugababes One Touch re-release has an Overload single included in early pre-orders. ABBA's last album re-release had all the singres included with it in a box set.

I think UMC might be looking at pre-order up for Spice very close to Wannabe anniversary including some form if Wannabe to entice more album orders and then both anniversaries boost Spice.

I really hope so. Would be fantastic if both Spice and Wannabe could re-enter the charts, though it's an uphill struggle for that to happen in the singles chart unfortunately.
If they do another tour then I think they need some more new material or have the girls showcase some of their solo material otherwise it will just be the same as the last tour.

Yeah which I think is why all the emphasis will be on Spice not Wannabe when it comes to getting pre-orders I feel. Getting Spice top 10 isn't out of the question where as getting Wannabe a respectable showing on the singles chart will be an uphill battle

If Universal Music Group (UMG) doesn't put up a pre-order of Spice by July 8, then we are probably not getting anything this year. :(
