I think they could definitely put something special together if they had the passion for it.

It would be a beautiful conclusion to their story if they released a fourth and final studio album. I hope it happens.

I'd say they are as close and in the best situation they could ever be now to record new music. They are actually working with UMG and have the Bravado deal. I actually think Biff is wrong and if it happens it won't come from the girls but from UMG throwing them an offer on the table. Something like 2 weeks of studio time booked, writers booked and UMG financing it and money on the table. Or something similar but to record a Christmas album with it all set up for them, studio time booked, 6 covers picked, writers booked 4 original Christmas songs created and recorded.

Left to them they just wouldn't book the studio time or align their diaries if left to themselves. They need a solid offer and direction sorted for them.

So I kind of agree with you, but please, no f***ing covers or Christmas music. I'd die. <_<

But I agree with you that they won't do anything unless a deal is put on a table for them. Like, if UMG offers them a try-out period with no obligation to actually release anything if it doesnt work out, a few weeks in a studio and get together with some producers to try out some ideas. That way it might work. But it wont work without a deal as they are too griddy and need that to jump from.

It's their version of 'organic'. They dont have a record deal and they are not early-20 somethings like they were before where they can just run away and get a new manager by themselves.

If a deal is put in place, they will probably try it. Or at least Mel B and Emma will try it so much to happen that the other two would just cave in :P

It wouldn't be forced obviously, they won't do anything unless they actually want to. It's like SW19 they weren't going to seek out a Wembley gig it was offered and once they had the incentive they made something amazing from it.

For me I feel they would need a serious offer and incentive on the table to record new music. The 4 aren't going to just book their own studio time and hope. The set up they have now it's much more likely they get an offer that might tempt them.

You can see this year with unreleased songs and demos getting released that they are open to things. It needed Universal properly sorting it and putting proper money and effort in. I mean I don't know exact numbers but Universal had a budget of money they put in to this, it's not cheap to make tens of thousands of vinyls, cassettes and cds.

They released one unreleased song from Spice and a few demos. They are definitely open to new things AKA cash grabs. :P

Hopefully we'll be pleasantly surprised by what's in store over the next couple of years!

We're certainly in a better place than 2008-11 and 2013-17. All those years I and many others spent on DenDen, hoping and speculating about the possibility of them coming back... what a waste of time :kink:

The point I was making is '5 or nothing' 'can't top the Olympics' 'b-sides are b-sides for a reason' are just easy sound bites. All have been dispelled over the last 2 years and all it took was a proper offer on the table to do it.

So 'we are conscious it wouldn't be as good or live up to our past material' is just another sound bite and it wouldn't surprise me at all if they recorded new material if a serious offer comes in. Right now they are in the best position to get that offer with the team around them and the re-release and bravado deal.

Same stance as usual from Victoria about Spice Girls, during an appearance on Good Morning America. Said that her passion is not in performing anymore.
The Spice Girls are a 4 piece, the 4 signed the UMG Bravado contract.

1 down, three to go until we get the REAL Spice Girl

I almost didn't recognise Victoria in that interview. She looks significantly different facially. :o
Did Victoria say anything about Melanie on dancing with the stars on the show?

She said Mel is amazing, can do it all dance and sing.

Yes her lips look terrible and her face doesn't move at all either.

Exactly we all want that 5th Emma album

Pfft.

I know you all will go to the "Geri Halliwell presents: THE Spice Girl sings Spicey Hits Acappella" world tour.

To be honest, Ive moved on and would hope the press would move on too. We get it, she isnt coming back. The 4 piece is amazing too as it is now!

She will always get asked just like the girls will always be asked if there is another reunion coming its the result of being part of such a phenomenon.

They should be more specific like would you reunite for a glastonbury performance!

Who cares, she looks great and is having fun :cheer: Good for her!

I feel like it's mainly lip filler that is contributing to a look of puffiness around that area of her face, which can be very appearance altering.

Nice words of encouragement and support for Melanie C on Dancing with the Stars!
