I also think Victoria needs to look at how a reunion could benefit her business, particularly the beauty range.

Many popstars now have profitable beauty lines. Just imagine the content if each girl used Victoria's make-up & skincare and done a BTS make-up/skin care tutorial (I'm actually surprised she hasn't collaborated with the girls to do a limited edition Scary, Sporty, Ginger & Baby range). If she had a pop up store for each tour date alongside the Spice Girls merchandise, it's promoting her brand to 30/40k potential customers a night. Where else would she get that? Victoria is a savvy business woman, she needs to realise the potential in this.

And regarding any performance anxieties, she could pre-record all her vocals like Gerita.

I wouldn't be shocked if she re-joins and this is a stipulation in the contract.

OK Spice fans really need to get with the fact that Victoria does not need to be a Spice Girl, nor go on tour to sell her products. Her company is now making profit, she shows her fashion shows in Paris, the biggest and most prestigious Fashion Week in the world, and she has plenty of power and money.

It would be cool, of course, to have the Spice Girls involved more and them having more of a 'group' showing but last time they did that, this was the result:

Not only it was a crap design and wording, but it was definitely lame to not even have them together for the picture in the first place. If this is the 'level' they would go for, I think they shoudlnt bother lol that campaign looked like GEM-levels of budget for maximum profit (yes profit because not only it was an expensive t-shirt, it was also on 25% of profit given to LGBTQIA+ charities'.)

ANYWAY, rant over, I just want them back :teresa:

Painful that Geri photoshopped a pic of herself with the tshirt on. Victoria controls her image to the max but it makes you think when she can stick on a tshirt and take a selfie but Geri wont.

Geri also wouldn't wear the first ever anniversary merch drop on the set of coinmaster adverts, she just held the mug.

The whole thing was crap, lets be honest. It looked shit and tacky, not just Gerita.

Yes it was probably better quality than most of what you get from their online store, but it was still lame as hell.

Anyway, they will certainly drop new 'merch' this week so that we can all moan and complain a bit more again :P

Tbf I cant fault the ornament, great quality, obviously over priced as everything is on an artist store.

Pics of the umbrella actually look good too, it is a huge full size brolly. Cant comment on the necklace as it needs to be felt and held to determine quality.

Surely the next drop has to be tomorrow as it says on their store orders by 1st December will ship to Australia before Christmas

I didn't say Victoria needs to go on tour. The beauty line is profitable but looking at the reunion from a business perspective, she could maximise sales. That's all I was saying!

Mel C gives it *another* strong hint that the Spice Girls will be back on tour, this time by saying in Brazil 'Spice Girls love you Brazil and we hope to see you all together very very soon'...

Seems like quite consistent hinting by some of them lately to be honest :teresa:

A proper world tour with Autralia and Brazil included would be incredible for sure!

I've been *fairly* convinced over the last couple of weeks that they have a tour that's been green-lit for 2024. At least, it's green lit as of today (12:37pm EST on Nov 28th); I'm hesitant on getting too :yahoo: ... because you know, "A girl's allowed to change her mind." I'm quoting Melanie C obviously, but I'm not referring to her. :teresa:

Yep until tickets go on sale it could all fall through. I think they maybe realise that the documentary will be massive promo for a tour though and it will probably mean they can do stadiums everywhere (if sensible size in certain areas) and cover pretty much everywhere in less than 50 dates and make absolutely massive amounts of money.

In 2007 they didn't have nostalgia to sell tickets that they do now.

Crossing my fingers this is true!!

My little gay heart can’t take it! Will be an utter bloodbath for tickets if all 5 do it.

Girlies, there is no way the 5 of them will do a 50-date World tour. Vicky is completely over that and at best she will do ONE date only somewhere special.

At best, they will do a World tour with current 4-piece + Glastonbury with 5 of them, and thats it. What most probably will happen is the Netflix documentary with all 5 + a World Tour with the 4 of them.

Emma and Gerita reunited last night for Christian's birthday surprise party, and apparently they all gathered around a piano to sing too!

Now, if only we would get a song with Emma, Geri, Gary Barlow, Rod Stewart and that Rolling Stone guy

Wait, actually that doesnt sound like something that should happen, it sounds like it would be terrible.. like, this looks like a geriatric Tory Party HQ Christmas do... :teresa:

Nightmare -_-

Didn’t realise Geri and Christian were friends with Barlow.

He’s always been quite shady towards Geri in the past when they’ve worked together.

I guess holding grudges isn’t healthy of course so respect.

Imagine paying Gary f***ing Barlow to 'entertain' :nickyoung:

In other news, Girls Aloud just launched a very Spice-inspired (no music, nostalgia tour ONLY) Tour and it is selling out, with an extra 14 dates added due to demand. It doesnt even touch the Spice Girls of course, but if Butlins-level Girls Aloud can do this, can you imagine what a Spice-reunion world-wide tour will do?

To be honest, I was thinking that Girls Aloud wouldn't sell that well, cos their re-release of The Sound of the Underground wasn't THAT successful either - and their streams/social media reach is pretty lackluster. Just goes to show that streaming/sales/online presence doesnt always mean success!!

Good for them though... I do worry for those gays and hun dos paying £200+ for standard seats for a GIRLS ALOUD show, damn... have some self-respect people! You're paying for glorified karaoke

Do we really have to lift up one girl group by putting down another?

You know there'd be a high proportion of people in this country who'd probably say "have some self-respect people, you're paying for glorified karaoke" regarding Spice Girls tickets, but we know better... and those who actually understand and appreciate Girls Aloud know that's far from being the case too. :o
