I thought that year-out tax thing was in 1997, not 1998 though, though according to Victoria, that law was removed and they had to pay it all anyway!

Here is a copy of the email: :teresa:

Hold on to your nickers, girls.

The law has been removed.

Interestingly, this just surfaced. It is the full audio of the girls singing Goodbye at the Brits 2000, with Victoria's full verse.

It's the first time i hear it to be honest, and I gotta say the audio here is much much better than we've heard before. Emma sounds heaven by the way!

I wonder why Victoria's verse was cut from the broadcast! She (and Emma) sound great in it!!

^ How do you know it's not a copy & paste job by a fan?
This v much sounds like the Earls Court version

I mean, technically it would have been the same arrangement anyway as both performances were kind of back to back.

But yeah, it might be fan-made... URGH

The Mirror is saying Mel C will release an album this year and that plans for a 4-piece tour are back on track apparently...

Take both with a pitch of salt -_-

From Mel C's Guardian interview:

"Chisholm has been doing the promo rounds for this show, encouraging people to take a punt on contemporary dance, but it turns out all anyone wants to ask is whether the Spice Girls are going to reform for Glastonbury this summer. So has Emily Eavis called yet? “It’s the question I hate the most, because the answer is as disappointing to me as it is to Spice Girls fans,” she says. “We would love to do Glasto. It just doesn’t fit with the current plan with the girls. We do want to get back on stage – everything is up in the air.”

"When the band last reformed it was without Victoria Beckham, AKA Posh Spice, who decided she’d had enough of dealing with the pressure of performing. What would it take to persuade her? “She hung up her dancing shoes after the Olympics in 2012,” says Chisholm. “Of course we had incredible stadium shows in 2019.” This was the Spice World tour. “And you know, there’s definitely a bit of fomo for her, so I’m a big optimist. We were all at Geri’s 50th a couple of months back and Victoria was the first one on the dance floor requesting Spice Girls songs.”

The plan = Only taking offers that need no or little involvement from the girls themselves. Enjoy more tshirts, Youtube vids and a documentary of archive footage.
^ That's not true. Three of them would be more than happy to to go on a gruelling tour.
Could have ended SW25 tracklist with this track but whatever

I actually agree! Would much rather have this on there than that awful Party Mix  Plus it would have been a nice touch following from the spoken-word track that closes Spice25

Why? It is on streaming already and no one wants to listen to it.

Because it is fun and an actual banger and it would be a really cute closer like the last track on Spice25

I sae the Xmas banner and loved it!!!

Yup, knew Geri wrote Goodbye for them! She probably did Hollier too.

Is that an intentional Xmas pun? :teresa:
