So surprised at no solos I really was not expecting that. I thought Melanie C in particular would insist on a solo. Hopefully that means more album tracks (please god no covers!).

 

Wonder what the animated movie is going to be about?

The papers have said the girls will be super heroes in it. It really could go either way, it needs I feel to be in the vein of Shrek I feel where it has adult humour sprinkled through it.

 

I'm hoping it will be a Netflix thing as I just don't see people going to the cinema to watch it.

I hope it has alot of humour in it and is a bit of a piss take otherwise it's going to be so cringe. I also cannot see many people going to the cinema to see it, they don't exactly have that young audience, and even I as a hardcore fan would be a bit embarrassed going to see a Spice Girls superheroes animation... (but I still would lol)

On their song Naked from their first album Spice, who sang the following words from 2 minutes, 21 seconds to 2 minutes, 41 seconds into the song?

Also, if the Spice Girls do make a fourth album, what is the likelihood of them later doing an international tour?

A fourth album seems like a pipe dream at this point, so who knows whether or not they'd do an international tour in support of it! Even without an album they seem hopeful but hesitant to tour outside of the UK/Ireland, but fingers crossed that they will.

I wish these girls would tour Europe in July/August while the kids still are off from school (the reason they aren’t doing a big tour)

I know I shouldn't say it but I really don't care about the Spice kids, they live the lifestyle they have because so many fans bought Spice Girls records PLUS if they toured for a few months it's like a few months in a lifetime. I do get a bit tired of hearing about 'the kids' in interviews.

 

I understand women get asked more than male groups because children want their Mums, but we fans want a reunion :dance: :rolleyes:

It seems we’re getting a new Spice Girls book in November (not official) but people who were involved at the very beginning at the auditions

Honestly, "the kids need to go back to school" thing is just an excuse. By some accounts they were falling apart at the end of the last tour and couldn't be done with it quickly enough. I assume the reason they won't do more shows at this time is because they want to see if the same thing will happen this time around.

I very much doubt they'd rework Song For Her... it's not as if it's so good it has to be salvaged from the scrap yard.

I reckon Melanie C probably contributed to writing the track in the first place, remember she was on 8 out of 10 cats and she was singing along to it. She clearly knew it before it was released...

That doesn't mean no new music at all though. I'm sure they want this tour to be a nostalgia fest but Emma did say when they are together if they get creative in rehearsals or on tour who knows.

 

I think there might have been talks about new music given the reaction to the ticket sales but a firm not before these 13 dates probably said as to not muddy the waters.

 

A new album would be a great excuse to tour again maybe arenas in a year or two time.

The tour is in a few weeks . You need songwriting sessions , demos recorded and mixed !! Never going to happen.

 

They will be back to solo projects . Mel C has been sitting on two albums for years .
