November 17, 20177 yr Author I've kind of deducted most of the animated musicals idek why :lol: I noticed that I subconsciously did this too :heehee: They almost don't feel like authentic musicals in a way and my top five would probably all just be Disney films otherwise :lol: :drama: There are a couple that I'd like to see too (Rent, Fame, Enchanted, Evita, Fiddler on the Roof, Footloose, Singing' in the Rain etc.) so I might try and watch a couple if I have a free moment.

November 25, 20177 yr I'll have a go at this but not a fan of Musicals at all and I notice people are avoiding animation which is probably fair but Corpse Bride and Nightmare Before Xmas would've scored big for me. November 30, 20177 yr So hard to decipher what is and what isn't a musical. So for Disney movies etc.. I don't feel like they're "musicals" as opposed to movies just with a couple of songs in... And I was very close to not including autobiographical ones for that reason, but decided to just score/rank them a bit further down (Walk the Line for example is one of my absolute fave films) so I don't know. :( But here, have this list! 01. Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory About all I can do I'm afraid as I haven't seen a lot of the big classic musicals :( I included Disney films that are most renowned for their music even if I deduct them a little bit as I would've given them my top vote in animation. (These are all originals, no remakes)
December 5, 20177 yr Outside the top 3 it's tough to order because I don't know whether to favour movies that I view as more genuine musicals (like Into The Woods/Chicago/Annie which you'll find on Broadway), base it on which have the best songs or which movies I enjoy the most overall :lol: 1.
