Everyone's favourite punching bag Ed Sheeran released ÷ and this instantly became a top five hit and as everyone predicted, he'd save this for a single release around winter time with an X-Factor performance, and he went one step further too getting Beyoncé on a remix to secure the year's Christmas Number One both here and in America (and many other countries). Such a dull and uninspiring song.

Wish they'd give this man some more airplay and recognition, to be honest. Very underrated real music artist. All you putting this in the top 10 are just jealous of his immense talent. (I don't hate this song actually but I'm not surprised because it was ridiculously overexposed and for such an average song)

Well it seems cool to hate on trap at the moment, even the talented rappers like Offset Migos. I do find it hilarious that they pushed Takeoff completely out of the picture in favour of a Lil Uzi Vert guest verse, clearly an attempt for even more hate points than they would've got. No surprise this is top 10 really just glad it isn't higher.

Well this wasn't even that big of a hit here but still big enough for so many of you to hate on it. 'iSpy' was a fun little hit for US rappers KYLE (who we've never heard from since) and Lil Yachty (not to be confused with Uzi Vert), it was a top five hit in the US though. Lil Yachty seems to have a thing for children's games as he also has a song called 'Peek A Boo' (featuring an infamous line about a cello, look it up x).

Chart destroyer Sam Smith came back to everyone on Buzzjack's disappointment and sailed straight to #1 with another bland soppy break up ballad, but thankfully none of his other singles from the era have even made the top 20 and the album kinda underperformed *.* #SamSmithIsOverParty. This was on track to miss the top ten but shot into the top 3 thanks to four lots of +18s right at the very end of the voting period.

The worst song of the year according to Buzzjack is this one released by Love Island celebs Chris & Kem who made a cringeworthy "grime" song with very little redeeming qualities. It's not even good in a novelty way which thankfully the public saw as this quickly fell down the chart whilst competing novelty hip-hop act Big Shaq rose to international fame #TalentWins. They can take their own advice, and leave it. The music industry that is. Or just any media in general.

That is a fair top 2, only think I've heard the Jake Paul song about twice but neither really have any objectively redeeming features, Chris & Kem was a bit of a laugh on the Chart Show I suppose.
