They got two acts and then a BUNCH of random Justin Beiber dancers on stage - PLUS I honestly think their harmonies were touched up - either a backing track, digital trickery, or back up singer reliance.

It is obviously veery clearly manipulated for them.

I mean, even the running order...the fact they were on 3rd/last and Kevin went on FIRST. A damn mess

It is pretty transparent there are GAGGING for Rak-Su to win, and that puts me off them even more  They're also just ot that talented, but their songs are catchy enough. Like I've said already, they feel like they'd have 2 hits in 2011 rather than winning X Factor in 2017. Idg why the producers are SO moist for them and are so desperate for them to win  Like I bet they scrambled for another songwriting prize when RakSu did't win the first one. I mean I guess it's the money signs because Rak-Su have been selling on iTunes, but there's a difference between taking off because 5 million are watching and having actual hits later.

This has been pretty much the most obvious series ever, I thought from the start Rak-Su or Grace would win. Kevin came as a bit of a surprise but after Smooth he was obviously a contender. I guess Cutkelvins lasted a bit longer than I thought but other than that I could pretty much call how thing went. I'm not expecting it to be anthng different tomorrow so Rak-Su will win. Yet again an interesting female act with artistry loses out to the generic male option (Rebecca, Saara, Fleur).

I mean...when Rat-Su had finished performing and Louis was standing with his arm around Sharon, looking like they were in awe. It's like...you ain't just watched Bey and Alex finish 'Listen'. Serious second-hand embarrassment

Just a dreadful, dreadful series. Outside of Grace and Kevin, the talent has been pretty dire. The changes to the format (getting rid of deadlock/getting rid of more than one contestant/the whole contestants getting prizes THING) have been brutal, and its just been a bit all over the place - bootcamp felt like it went on for MONTHS.

I'll always watch it because I love music but they really need to give the show a rest for a few years imo.

Yeah right that's what gets me too  Like fair enough enjoy it, but they go on like they've just seen Whitney perform at her peak when it's just a bunch of ladz rapping a song most people could perform.

Agree about the series as a whole though, but I don't think it was necessarily the talent as I enjoyed Lloyd, Holly, Rai-Elle, Cutkelvins, Talia and Tracey, it was just the format really killing it for me. Like Talia was ousted on one awful song choice because they rushed it so much, and then for others like Rai-Elle or Lloyd I feel they could have built up momentum to challenge for the win in a normal series (a la Saara) but it wasn't long enough for them to do that. Everything abut the format was just wrong imo, it's a nice idea having Saturday and Sunday filled with something to watch but when it's done so awfully it doesn't matter a jot. I much preferred the intensity of the results being the next day with the drama of the sing off. It kind of felt like the Voice to me, rushed with not a lot of chance to really care about anyone which is probably why the obvious top 2 have sailed through the whole time.

I did like the focus on original songs though even if Rak-Su's all sound the same  That sets it apart from say The Voice which feels like a karaoke competition, but realistically the F contestants barely have much more chance at getting a hit than The Voice winner does :')

Rak-Su's backing track will no doubt be at maximum volume tomorrow, complete with 500 dancers, celebrity endorsements and a close up of Simon crying euphoric tears.

They will be dusting off the Big Bird costume for Grace again. I expect she will still win though-really don't think the "older generation" vote that is out in force on final night will be going for Rak-Su no matter how much Simon wants it. They only won the prize fight once despite maximum hype and closing the show every week after all.

I'm not sure there's many of that demographic left watching tbf

But they're all watching Strictly!

I BET that Big Bird costume comes back. It has been SO manipulated from the start and a veery obvipus show like Liam said.

The talent was awful - Rae Elle shouldn't have got past the first audition at best.

The format was rushed, dramaless and AWFUL, as were the judgs. They were empty, vacuous, heaping praise on EEEVERYTHING, and yup acting like every other performance was Alex and Beyoncr. Just... no.

Nicole and Louis have been unbearable this series.

Louis is so full of shit, like he says every thing is going to be a hit.. when quite frankly it probably wouldn’t even touch the top 100

I did like Nicole a lot until this year. Is she really back again next year?

It seemed like Nicole really culdn't be arsed this year just like most of the viewers  Louis has always been an annoying parody of himself, you can tell what he's going to say before he says it. Actually all the judges have been a bit disappointing this year and that goes with the fall in the format for me, as said they just seem to like everything even Simon who'd normally be savage. That's part of the fun for me, when someone is shite and Simon comes up with awful ways to slate them. It just reminds me of the Voice again where they're all OTT positive and constructive, barely daring to say when someone was bad. At best this year we've got really feeble comments like "that wasn't your best" "the song choice was wrong", and like I said for me the judges comments and how far they went with it being bad was part of the fun for me. I know it's light Saturday entertainment, but so is Strictly and the judges will say when someone goes wrong, you have Craig being scathing for example. The judges actually felt redundant this series at many points, with the top 2 writing their own songs mostly anyway, and the fact they don't get to vote on sing-offs, pretty much giving the same generic comments all series only adds to that.

I know there was always moaning hat they had TOO much input and we didn't decide who goes home, but I'd so gladly take that and the drama it brings over the limp format we have this series.

PREACH!!

They felt completely redundant, with vacuous comments and not much else to them :/ If everything is great, then what are they even 'judging'? And if they're not voting, then what are they doing? Producers choose the songs, etc. It just felt like they were there to inteoduce the acts and praise them and talk t them for 5 minues during the week. Dermot could do all that!

All caught up now and it's a shame that Kevin is out as I think he's really talented, but this wasn't his strongest night, as much as I really like Tokio as well :( rooting for Rak-Su out of this top 2 as their 'Dimelo' performance was my highlight of the night *.*
Jesus wept, an average of 4.44 million viewers watched this final  Strictly got a peak of 10.5 million and average of 9.7 million.
That is AWFUL, I expect they will get more tonight though. Remember the days x factor used to get over 10 million watching the final.
It's still clashing with Strictly, so ofc being the actual final compared to just results of Strictly it'll get more but I expect Strictly to just batter it again
Course Liam, That goes without saying! I mean x-factor will get more viewers than 4.4 million tonight. Given Little Mix etc are on.
Rak-Su will win tonight but I'd prefer Grace now that My fave Kavin has gone.

I rewatched the parts that would be ikonek if more people watched them

- yup, y'all were right, 2nd hand embarrassment at them gaping at Rak Su with arms around each oher. Umm they just did a rap backed up by studio backing vocals tuned ALLL THE WAY UP.

- Matt looking awkward and like he wanted nothinf more to do with the show

- Holly being bitter and jealous of Grace lol

- Luis Tomlinson's 'singing' and Cowell rebellion

- The BLATANT manipulation for Rak Su with two guests and a thousand backing dancers. Just utterly laughable!
