December 21, 20177 yr Dua Lipa had some great songs on her album! Great to see her finally get a UK #1 as well!
December 21, 20177 yr Run The Jewels 3 is such a good album. Great to see that in your top 10. DAMN. is very deserving of being in your top 3. Every song on there is a highlight for me. :D I listened to Dua Lipa for the first time yesterday and I was pleasantly surprised. Even the songs I wasn't fond of before the album's release (Room For 2, Lost In Your Light) sounded better in the context of the album.

December 21, 20177 yr Author Top 10 Artists of the Year: 10. JP Cooper One of the fast rising artists, JP Cooper has been one of my favourite artists this year, because in my opinion, he has a great voice and has a lot of great songs. I liked "September Song" since first listen and he won me over with this song, also last year he grabbed a #1 with Jonas Blue on "Perfect Strangers". And the other songs are great too from his album: "Passport Home", "She's On My Mind", "Closer", "Change" and a lot more. Hopefully 2018 will be a lot more brighter from this artist.
December 22, 20177 yr Melodrama is unfortunately the only album I've heard in full in the top three :( I love it though, I'd pick "Writer in the Dark" as my absolute favourite from it though. I've been meaning to listen to DAMN. for ages but still haven't got round to it yet. HUMBLE, DNA and LOYALTY have all been excellent singles to add to his already impressive discography :music:

December 23, 20177 yr Hey Sergej!! Dua Lipa's album is superb, a great and worthy #1 album of the year  Brilliant to see Harry Styles's album feature too! I need to check out JP Cooper's album, it's on my Christmas list actually, I hope I'll enjoy it as the singles have all been varying degrees of good.
December 24, 20177 yr JP Cooper is great but unfortunately I'm going off him a little now :( I don't think I would have like Passport Home as much if I wasn't starstruck by September Song, and Momma's Prayers is the only other song I've really liked by him

Yes, she is worthy of my #1 album of the year, but not the only accomplishment in my Year-End chart (Spoiler Alert), also of course Harry needs to be in my EOY album chart, probably the best of all members of 1D going solo. Hope that you will enjoy the JP Cooper album! Thank you for the comment!
December 24, 20177 yr Author That's a really good #1 album from a standout star of 2017! Hey Dobbo! Dua Lipa is so great and I appreciate the love from other Buzzjack Members loving Dua! Thank you for the comment!

Good that you like JP Cooper, but shame that you find some of his songs not good. But I can see why you losing interest on him. Thank you for the comment!
December 24, 20177 yr Author Alright, time for me to catch up! 9. Harry Styles In my opinion, the best of all 1D solo careers, since "Sign Of The Times", Harry was a great and interesting artist. I like his style of music, reminding me of classic rock. When his album dropped, it was amazing, many songs like "Two Ghosts", "Kiwi", "Ever Since New York", "From The Dining Table" and many more are great and even memorable for me. So hopefully, Harry sticks around in 2018 with more of this music. 8. Little Mix If you would make me decide between Fifth Harmony and Little Mix, I would pick Little Mix without even thinking and while it wasn't the best year for them in my opinion, that would be 2015, it still is a great year for them, in my chart the single "Touch" was the first #1 in 2017. A great single with amazing production and I even like the collaboration with CNCO and their new singles from the Premium Edition of Glory Days. 7. Kygo One of three DJs in my End of the Year Artist list, Kygo was interesting for me since "Firestone" and "Stole The Snow" and even though "Cloud Nine" was a great album, I like "Kids in Love" more because it has even more memorable songs on this album in my opinion. And of course, "It Ain't Me" is a masterpiece for me. 6. Robin Schulz Back to back DJs, this time with Robin Schulz, I always like Robin Schulz since he did the "Waves Remix" and the "Prayer In C Remix". Since 2015, I like all his singles, especially "Sugar", "OK" and "I Believe I'm Fine". This year, his album "Uncovered" was full of good tracks and some good production from him. 5. Kendrick Lamar King Kendrick is back with a vengeance! I always like Kendrick Lamar, even when he was disappointing, I still like the guy, when I thought his career was going downhill after his feature on "Don't Wanna Know", "DAMN." didn't disappointed me, all his songs are amazing on there. Especially "DNA." and "HUMBLE.". I knew that someday he would get the recognition that he deserved and it did happen this year. Congratulations, Kendrick! You deserve to be famous! Artists 4-1 are coming up next week! Who would be my favourite artist of 2017? Dua Lipa, Calvin Harris, Lorde or Ed Sheeran? Edited December 25, 20177 yr by sergejdordij98
December 26, 20177 yr Author 4. Ed Sheeran In real life, Ed Sheeran was the best artist of 2017. In my charts, he's only #4, but still he is really big, from "Shape Of You" and "Castle On The Hill" being big hits at the start of January, following up with the fun "Galway Girl" and the slow, melodic "Perfect", he had a big year. I want to see how Ed Sheeran follows up his possibly biggest year yet in 2018. 3. Lorde I LOVE Lorde, she is a great and talented artist and in 2017 she came back with Vengeance, when "Green Light" came, it was phenomenal, it reached #1 in my chart. And her album was one of the best albums of 2017. Shame that she didn't have big hits this year in reality. In my charts, she has a lot of great hits, like "Perfect Places" and "Homemade Dynamite", the latter reached #1. Hopefully she can be even more big in 2018. 2. Calvin Harris Calvin had a big 2017, from his surprisingly awesome collaborations with Frank Ocean and Migos on "Slide" and with Young Thug, Pharrell Williams and Ariana Grande on "Heatstroke", to his big hit "Feels" with Pharrell Williams, Katy Perry and Big Sean. And he released the summer album of 2017 "Funk Wav Bounces Vol. 1", he was most played in my summer holidays, Hopefully he sticks around with this style in 2018. And to the surprise of absolutely nobody... 1. Dua Lipa She was the artist of the year in my charts by a mile. It began with "Lost In Your Light" being a #1 for 3 weeks and after the album released, there was an album invasion with all her songs charted. And of course, the big single "New Rules" which was not only the song of the summer in my chart, but one of the biggest songs this year, which SPOILER ALERT: It will be in the Top 10 of my single Year-End List. I hope she sticks around in 2018 and with "IDGAF" coming January, she will be around for a while and for me that's a good thing! And that's another Year-End list over with. Tomorrow, I will begin my Top 10 artists who might impact my chart in 2018! Edited December 26, 20177 yr by sergejdordij98
December 26, 20177 yr I hate most of the songs on the hate chart (so that's good, excep Look I think). Gucci Gang is that bad that I usually recommend succesful songs on my weekly chart and as I thought that was very bad I couldn't do it  Nice to see Dua and Little Mix making the Top10.
December 26, 20177 yr So glad New Rules was as bigger hit as it was! First solo female UK #1 since Adele in 2015 :o
December 26, 20177 yr Author I hate most of the songs on the hate chart (so that's good, excep Look I think). Gucci Gang is that bad that I usually recommend succesful songs on my weekly chart and as I thought that was very bad I couldn't do it  Nice to see Dua and Little Mix making the Top10. Gucci Gang shouldn't even exist at all! Great that you like Dua Lipa and Little Mix in my Artist End Of Year list! Thank you for the comment Seltin! So glad New Rules was as bigger hit as it was! First solo female UK #1 since Adele in 2015 :o I was really happy when "New Rules" became #1 in the UK, for me..., well wait until the songs of the year in my chart. Thank you for the comment Pete!
December 26, 20177 yr Author Sergej's new discoveries in 2018 Warning:There will be a foreign artist on the list, just a heads up! 5. Jessie Ware Info: Jessica Lois Ware (born 15 October 1984) is an English singer and songwriter. Her debut studio album Devotion (2012) peaked at number five on the UK Albums Chart and produced the single "Wildest Moments". Her follow-up record, Tough Love (2014), reached number nine in the United Kingdom. Ware has sung vocals for Joker and SBTRKT, in concert and on their recordings. My comments: I just discovered her recently, with her singles "Midnight" & "Alone" played on BBC Radio 1 and I like both singles, now that she has a new album out and a new single with "Your Domino" on the way, she might be a big star in 2018. 4. Tom Walker Info: Tom Walker is a singer-songwriter who grew up near Manchester and signed with Sony Music's Relentless Records. Walker has been honing his sound over the past couple of years and this is in some part influenced by sharing a house with twelve others, also musicians where they would jam together in their home-built studio. He has also cited musicians such as John Mayer, Paolo Nutini and Angus Young (AC/DC) as having an impact on him as an artist. My comments: Tom Walker left me with a great impression with his single "Leave A Light On", which will be probably a huge hit in 2018 and hopefully he will stick around, maybe his other song "Heartland" will get a chance to shine in my chart too. 3. Cesare Cremonini Info: Cesare Cremonini (Italian pronunciation: [ˈtʃeːzare kremoˈniːni]; born on 27 March 1980 in Bologna) is an Italian singer-songwriter and actor. Cremonini was the leader of Lùnapop, a successful and popular Italian pop band between 1999 and 2002. After Lunapop disbanded, he pursues a succesful solo career. My comments: Told you, there would be a foreign artist in my fresh finds of 2018 and this man might have a big star in my chart next year, even though he has already have huge hits in Italy, I discovered him this year with his new single "Poetica", which is currently going for a Top 3 hit and if this song will do well, there might be a chance that there will be more new singles from him on my chart. Definitly keep an eye on him. 2. Tom Grennan Info: London-based singer/songwriter Tom Grennan first entered the wider public as a guest vocalist on Chase & Status' track "When It All Goes Wrong." Far from being an electronic musician, Grennan's early solo shows consisted of just vocals and guitar. Grennan released his debut single, "Something in the Water," in 2016. My comments: I started to get behind this talented man after "Royal Highness" was out, since then it has a phenomenal chart run in this year and probably next year, he might become even bigger and with him album dropping on February next year. Who knows, maybe we'll have a new star in the making in my chart? 1. Sigrid Info: Sigrid Solbakk Raabe (born 5 September 1996), known professionally as simply Sigrid, is a Norwegian singer and songwriter. In 2017, she achieved international success with the single "Don't Kill My Vibe". During her childhood, her inspirations were Joni Mitchell and Neil Young. My comments: "Don't Kill My Vibe" was good, "Plot Twist" was a good follow-up, but with "Strangers" it clicked with me. For me, Sigrid is a really talented performer and out of all the future artists to look out for in 2018 on my chart that I've mentioned, she will probably have the biggest impact out of all of them (maybe Tom Grennan could have a big impact too). So, those were my future artists to look out for in my chart in 2018. A very unique list of good artists. Tomorrow... well, one more list to go. And it's a really, really big one. My Top 250 songs of the year based on my chart. Until then, have a great day!
