Dreadful episode last night! Since when has Phil gone on yet another holiday without Sharon??? He was in the square on Friday, which was technically last night in terms of where the episode is!

Goes to show pretty much nothing is happening in EE when even this thread isn't as active as it has been :lol:

It fluctuates so much atm, we've had amazing episodes focusing on the Slaters, but days later you get... this. It is important to balance the big storylines with "normal" stuff but there are just so many filler episodes, ones like yesterday where the only stuff happening is either totally mundane like Ian and Masood's business and Tiffany's Instagram somehow being the new TMZ, or stuff that nobody cares about like that woman wanting to see her baby. It seems like we get something really promising and think John Yorke was just finishing off Sean O'Connor's stuff, but then episodes like yesterday are still so frequent...

 

Also convenient of Mariam to go to Pakistan when they have a new baby to foster, I expect the actress is just ill having time off or something, but they could have at least said family emergency rather than just her popping over at a time like that :lol:
