I won’t be able to watch any of this week until the weekend. Preparing for Bonnie *.*

Tiff is becoming a new fave :')

They are continuing on this knife attack story really well. Interesting to show the mother of the attacker's side too - if they want to help prevent knife crime that's a good way of going about it. I just hope they continue treating the story well and don't mess up with the end trial results or anything like that. There needs to be justice for this story to work.

Zack Morris continues to be fantastic too.

Just caught up. Bonnie Langford is smashing this and I’m glad Carmel has had a lot of focus, and Keegan too. Mick is getting way too much, I don’t care about his guilt. He’s constantly turning his back on his family and trying to play the hero, I’m somewhat glad it’s blown up in his face. I’d much rather Kush or Bex we’re getting his screen time in this story.

Loving Jean and how they’ve had her all but say ‘sausage surprise’.

Tiff remembering Billie was a nice touch. It’s so long ago but I think I can remember Pat saying that about lillies.

Yeah it all being about Mick is really getting on my tits, of course it HAD to be King Mick who found Keegan and is embroiled in the whole story... Like ofc someone had to find and save him and ofc being involved whoever that was gonna feel guilty for not also saving Shakil, but who on earth cares about Mick's feelings around someone he barely interacted with when there are friends and family of Shakil we aren't really seeing? It's just yet another way to shoehorn him into virtually every storyline.
I think it should have been Martin that found him. He really did have a relationship, and a rocky one at that, with Shakil plus he’s Kush’s best mate. This is just an excuse to shove Danny Dyer in our faces. He got two duff duffs this week FFS.

Exactly! I suppose they've got to milk Danny Dyer with what they're paying him :drama:

Yes they do like doing it in twos. I just remain disappointed with the show. At this point with John Yorke i thought i would be feeling more excited about the show.

The storylines by large are lacking punch and drama. The stabbing storyline was good but i feel it could have been built up more and they could have made more of the storyline. That said, Bonnie has delivered incredible performances.

The show still gives me a feeling that they still havnt worked out what to do with it to get it back on track.

Brief return confirmed for

Ollie Walters. Which means more screen time for Jean! Interested to see what's happened between them.

Would love for that to be permanent because I hate to ruin things for no good reason.
Omg Mick is such a c**t. So obvious Stuart’s not actually a paedophile.

They seem determined to have Mick in as many episodes and scenes as possible and involve him in very single storyline and there is no need for it.

I dont mind Mick, i love Linda but Mick doesn't need to be involved in everything.

I love the Fox-Hubbard unit. They're written like normal people who care about each other and their scenes just feel so natural. Definitely the most likable characters on the show right now.

I don't understand why Sharon is always pitted against other women and is generally just so nasty and bitchy. We don't want to see Sharon be a doormat but we don't want to see her be a bully either. I don't understand how the show fails to write consistently and truthfully for Sharon, Ian and Phil.
