I'm really hoping we get a well deserved break from Ed in 2018.

I can’t see things calming down with Ed until next summer at the earliest. River is bound to be everywhere and pretty certain Taylor will release end game as a single eventually. Who knows what other collabs he has made which we don’t know of yet (not to mention follow up singles to Perfect). :nocheer:

I really can’t see there being another single after Perfect, I think that’s it. Burn yes, he’ll be around as a feature for a while I’d say.

Hopefully it's just like Justin's post Purpose year and we only have two big singles (Let Me Love You / Cold Water).

It's just annoying seeing the same dull artist everywhere, at least Justin had good music when he was dominating!

Ed has a documentary about the making of Divide coming out next year. This is likely to be part of a re-release of the album. I would believe, Ed will be prominent in the charts for 2018 and then nothing in 2019.

ew is this real ffs

Hahaha - cringe for us chart fans but it's clearly something a load of people will want to see... :/

In your opinion of course ;)

Has Streets of London and Grace gotten promo from somewhere?

The excellent "Sorry" and to a lesser extent "What Do You Mean?" aside, I've found his output since pretty average - not necessarily bad though; his name certainly became a huge reason for them selling. Excluding "Despacito" from that seeing as it's not his song but his name did put it out there.

I didn't mind his output but I certainly think it's a matter of opinion to say it's brill compared to Ed!

As for Justin his name didn't sell his previous albums material so the chart friendly quality def helped.

Do we usually see a sales boost for One More Sleep this weekend compared to other songs?

2. Ed Sheeran - Perfect Symphony (with Andrea Bocelli)

19. Ralph McTell - Streets of London (feat. The Crisis Choir & guest vocalist Annie Lennox)

20. Jax Jones - Breathe (feat. Ina Wroldsen)

34.Rag'n'Bone Man - Grace

The iTunes credit for the Andrea Bocelli version of 'Perfect' has changed for some reason (now credited to Ed Sheeran & Andrea Bocelli, while the Beyoncé version is still just Ed Sheeran and '(with Beyoncé)' at the end of the song title). Surprised to see that version still gaining and overtaking the Beyoncé one, although I have heard it a couple of times on Heart while I've yet to hear the Beyoncé version on there so that might be part of the reason why ~
I haven't heard the Andrea one yet but can't imagine how it would work/sound!

now I would really like to hear the ed james bond song just to have a laugh at its lyrics ;)

for what I understand, he did the same with eminem, he already had a song written and prepared just in case eminem asked, and he did :/
