Harry Styles comes to Slane June 10th

Memories from Robs trip to Slane 24 years ago , so long ago :o

:bounce:

I didn't know HS was doing Slane Tess.

Rob's Knebworth record is up for grabs.

Harry Styles and Ed Sheeran could challenge Rob's record of 3 days Knebworth. Didn't he say that 'Britain will not see this again for a long time to come"? He was right. 20 years is a long time and in Showbiz years even longer.

It is interesting that Rob still holds up in the category of top artists. All of them have somehow 5 years when they cannot do any wrong like Adele or Ed Sheeran, then they have a small decline where the critic increases and they have to do more promo and/or scandals and then they either vanish or stay on top in the way Rob did.

I think Harry Styles is the NKATB now. He is now on the peak and it will be interesting who comes next and how Rob will position himself after this year with the movie etc.

I think it's great such events do not happen too often, that's what makes them special & we remember them forever. Slane like Knebworth is a very special venue & creates great memories & many of the greats have appeared there over the years .

Not sure those high octane performances are in Rob anymore , he more or less admits to that himself & even talked about it during this tour where he indicated that going forward he would like to do this current easy going type of show . Physically he has problems with his back etc , all part of growing old & too many years on the road

I often wondered why he never went down the Country music route, it's something I think he would be very good at even if it was only for one album . I see Ed Sheeran is thinking abut it after working with Taylor Swift

I loved this , had that Country/ Hoedown feel to it

What a surprise from Blur!!

I don't know how Mr Albarn can do that different stuff... Very talented artist.

Like Rob he is not afraid to try different things , that's why I like both of them , always interesting ...

I think I've never heard Come Undone with female vocal.

Do I like it? YEs, sure!!

Just imagine if Taylor Swift or Adele would sing it. Top hit.

And yes, one of the Robbie's best.

I've checked the official video for Soft play - Punk's dead. really cool side project for Robbie.
