This is one of my favourite videos plus I love the song

& it did really well

Chart success

The song became a massive worldwide success for Williams, debuting inside the top ten in most countries around Europe, including number-two (behind Push The Button by Sugababes) in the United Kingdom, spending six weeks inside the top ten and fifteen inside the top seventy-five.[2] The single reached number-one in The Netherlands, Argentina, Germany (where it was his first #1 single[3]), Portugal, Italy, and Taiwan. In Switzerland, the single was certified Gold.[4] In Mexico, the song reached number-nine and became the eleventh most played track of the year.[5] In Australia, the single peaked at number-seven and went on to sell over 35,000 copies, being certified Gold by the ARIA.[6]

The greatest one!

For me GG was always a successor of The Road To Mandalay. This French sound makes sense, it remind me a Nouvelle Vague I'd say.

Perfect style and mood.

I am not familiar with Nouvelle Vague & looked them up & you are right , it does have that feel to it

It's a pretty song

Ha! I also didn't know this band :)

Actually I meant French movies from 60s - French new wave = Nouvelle Vague :)

Cannot find the Intensive Care thread

Here are some Demos on a recent video that Robbie posted on YT... Ghosts is a great song

Some nice demos on there

I thought his voice sounded gorgeous on those demos.

Some of the lyrics sounded bleak though.

I wonder what he feels when he listens to those lyrics now? 15 years on?

15 years!!

I still like a lot of songs of Intensive Care, especially Ghosts, a Place to Crash

There's always a lot of love for Intensive Care on all the forums. I see it all the time.

For me -it's one of my least loved Robbie albums but I know I'm in the minority. :)
