Whatever happened

To the mean mortals crew

The fine young casuals blew a fuse

And so the Burslem lads

Now that they're all dads

They meant so much to me

It makes me sad

Directed by Jim Field Smith. With Alfie Field, Steve Furst, Juliet Cowan. Magnus is only a young boy but he has decided to run away to America of all places. His mother has given up so it is left to his father to try and talk him out of it but it does rather seem that young Magnus has already made up his mind. Screened separately and together on television and widely available on the internet, this short film was one of several that were commissioned by Robbie Williams to help promote his new album Rudebox.

This soul-tinged break-up song is the second single from British singer-songwriter Robbie Williams' eighth solo album, Reality Killed the Video Star. This tale of lost love is based on an original song "Voilà" written by the French singer Françoise Hardy. The string arrangement is based on John Barry's "Theme From Midnight Cowboy."

This song, along with the rest of the album, was produced by Trevor Horn. The album title is a reference to "Video Killed The Radio Star" by Horn's former band the Buggles "The title was Robbie's idea," Horn told The London Times September 26, 2009. "For me, programs like Britain's Got Talent and The X-Factorare a bit tired. You have someone like Susan Boyle - she shows up, she looks a bit manky, she sings OK and everyone goes bananas - but you can't have too many of them."

Deceptacon is great song.

Sorry if I've already published H.E.S. rather recently.

I just love that song!

There were always my big Top-2 of RW songs: No Regrets and The Road To Mandalay. All time favourites. Nothing better :)

But Number 3 has been changed within last 20 years. Supreme, One Fine Day, Bodies, Me And My Monkey, Be A Boy tried to be a Number 3.

But I think, I really think that H.E.S. is my real Number 3.

I like everything: lyrics and its context, vocal, back vocal, jungle choir (!) guitars, emotions, music, Bruce Springsteen's mood, THAT clip & his KISS image. And yes, this period with my fave Tour.

Robbie, thank you for this song. Please do more the Robster's stuff :D

And please do LIVE!

I agree, it's a terrific song. What does he say at the beginning of the video ' Do we need a trolley' !! , is that what he says in the supermarket

Re Soccer Aid performance I wonder if he will do the version of Angels that he was supposed to do at The Deutsch Telekom event that had to be postponed

Bodies & MAMM are also amongst my favourites. :)

I think he will do Angels after a guest speaker has read a beautiful poem.

I have several of his albums on vinyl but cannot remember him doing a SWYW vinyl, I see one out there on this website https://www.cdworld.ie/robbie-williams-swin...winning-lp.html , how legitimate it is I do not know. There are some reviews about cd world on here so you could check them out , I have heard of them but have never purchased anything https://ie.trustpilot.com/review/cdworld.ie
