I'll take Kylie not being top 200 over the prospect of her releasing something like that. :puke2:

The thought of them recording the opposite song is quite amusing though. Both would be a complete mess

Love Dancing but God's Plan >>>.

drake added to hot hits but quite low

Lol at number 41 on the List... Zero effect will be but he's doing amazing without.

well he's #2 on Today's top hits, which is the #1 playlist in the world

just realised Sigrid has not been added to hot hits, really thought it would

What're the figures like?

I *really* don't get it; I thought a lot of those streams on Saturday would be curiosity streams. I swear this man could fart out a track and his disciples would lap it up.

That's the way the charts are I'm afraid. Musicians like Taylor Swift, Dua Lipa & Little Mix are the same but no one complains when it's their turn.

Me 2, Weird about her, really. And yes he got from 10 to 2 in 1 day.

Don't be afraid :drama:

I wouldn't be complaining if it was a good song anyway. Drake has some great songs. But he's now at that point in his career where he can churn out any old shit and it'll be a hit. I imagine one day he could release a track where he recites his shopping list over a tribal drum beat and it'll get to number 1.

I thought for sure that when Hot Hits updated after being stagnant all week the newer songs would move up but no, they’re all still stuck at the bottom.

Acts with a massive fanbase are capable of getting hits no matter how good or bad their music is, the charts have always been manipulated in this way. That's why boybands for example often had their songs entering in the top 10 during the days of held back releases because most of their fanbase would buy it during the first week which would give it an advantage over it's competitors.

I know dear, I've been following the charts for 20 years this year

+ they haven't added rudimental, new mabel, etc

and sigrid's label are being useless, they know spotify uses payola cos they've used it before,

they've paid in the past to have sigrid as song #1 on NMF, so not sure why they ain't paying now

that's not chart manipulation, what does it have to do with it? that's called having a dedicated fanbase

what you want fans to do? not to buy the songs LOL

It doesn't bother me personally. Any song could be number 1 and I wouldn't care too much about it these days, my point is that Drake is not the only musician who has the "he could fart for 5 minutes and his fans will still lap it up" appeal. This has been going on for decades.

New chart rule any act that has already had a number 1 12 months prior to a new release is automatically acr

When did you stop feeling connected to the majority the music within the charts?

I think the last few years since streaming has been added, its a chore to listen to the charts with the never ending old music sticking around. There were a few times I felt like chucking it all in. It was even frustrating to listen to the same tracks in the 40 getting played, nowadays we don't get the whole 40 getting played sort of makes the pain bearable
