No More Sad Songs and Touch are both perfection (my two favourite LM singles) and sonically very similar, NMSS is like a mid tempo version of Touch. :heart:

Based on what's left, Top 5 deserves to be Move, Salute, LMLY, Touch and Power. NMSS would deserve #1 if it was in it's original form, but alas.

I love the added instrumentation in Jesy's verse and Jade's pre-chorus, and I actually quite like MGK's rap, but I'd love it so much more if they hadn't removed the bridge, and if they hadn't changed the drop after the second chorus :( It's still great, it just doesn't take me away like the original.

Reggaeton Lento should be higher imo :wub:

"No More Sad Songs" is the worst single from 'Glory Days' and their second worst since 2015 (after "Hair"). Next out please!

Up next is another song of theirs that got "remixed" for a single release and this time they added Machine Gun Kelly. A huge name, nowhere. It's a decent name, but they def could've had a bigger name. However, MGK really suited the remix. This song is an ALL OUT BANGER. This really is how you create a mid-tempo club bop. Just so carefree and smooth, but packing just the right punch! It still kinda blows my mind that it's not Perrie doing the subtle "no more sad songsss" :lol:

 

This really should be top 2, butttt it's actually done better than I feared it would. I guess it's coz it hasn't got any vocal haters and no one particularly hates/dislikes it. Such a deserved top 10 entry :heart:

The remix version of 'No More Sad Songs' is honestly perfection.

 

The song itself is so chilled, I just wish they bothered to promote the single in the UK and ensure it got a top ten peak. I'm surprised 'No More Sad Songs' has became my favourite Little Mix song and I'm sure had I voted my 11 could have helped it go top five. :(

NMSS is incredible; a real album highlight from the offset, and I'm glad the girls realised that and released it instead of 'Oops' (even if that probably would've outsold it by far :lol:). Shame it's the underdog of the GD era!

I think as well the other reason I am so in love with NMSS is because it was a single that I never thought they would release, Touch we pretty much knew before the album was released, Power was so obviously going to be released at some point too, but when they announced NMSS as a single, I could have died. When I'm in a bad/sad mood, it lifts me up more than any of their other singles. For me it is like their "The Saturdays - Higher" moment.

I mean don't get me wrong I do really enjoy the track and it does have some quirkiness to it, but the drop itself feels very dated, from 2013 rather than 2017.

Aww I knew 'DNA' was going to take a tumble after how early it exited in the 'least favourite singles' poll series :( It really hasn't tired for me in the slightest and it will take something very special for them to ever top it for me. I suppose top 10 is still good when there are some big sellers below it!

 

I have really grown to love 'No More Sad Songs' so its performance here is pleasing. :wub:
