Only to pop fans and itunes followers. In real life, it was minor. I hardly ever heard it, ever, and it made no waves on Spotify, like 70% of the market.

Radio LOOOVES its cannon fodder made for radio McDonald's music, but even so it wasn't on all the time and like I said I hardly ever heard it.
Is End Game even playlisted on radio stations? Here radio is playing Gorgeous, yet to hear End Game

Exactly like most of Reputations campaign the post album releases have been poorly done - radio 1 still playing Gorgeous as the new video for the next single comes out.

What About Us was a massive hit, I really don't think there's any denying it, so can we PLEASE stop the constant circular arguments?
But is she climbing on Spotify??

Pop hits do well all the time on iTunes, but become minor hits overall - like Screech's pop - because of Spotify and the majority of people using that. The popsters are still using iTunes, hence the big difference between iTunes and the real charts

You are right but a increasing single on iTunes can still lead to Radio taking notice and increasing airplay and therefore increasingly on major Spotify playlists.

 To say it wasn't is ridiculous - must have been top 10 airplay hit without checking too? Beautiful Trauma is top 5 at the min!

Both have had pretty solid video boosts imo  End Game has no airplay yet either so I'd say it's fine?
It's clearly had an affect, I just thought they'd have been a bit bigger considering the names attached/where each of the artists are in their careers right now (but then again RFI had a similar sort of boost - a good one, but one which I expected to do more).

They're clearly gonna be hits so it won't matter in the long run. I dunnooo... Maybe I expected a bit too much from the video boosts haha.

you must be either completely anti-social or deaf to have 'not heard What About Us much' - it's been EVERYWHERE being used in the background of talent shows and on the radio - and it also got to #9 on Spotify, so it's not like it did badly on there.
Ugh it was HUGE on radio

It was officially her biggest radio hit ever in the UK in fact

Actually I keep the radio OFF except odd times in t he car ever since 2013 newrly drove me crazy with endless back to back plays of Screech, Whine and When I was Your Adele x

So why make a point when it's just your opinion rather than one garnered by facts?

lol people that argue they never hear certain songs on the radio

but actually never listen to the radio

:)

What about us has been massive, only a person blinded by his personal hate for pink would say otherwise

there are lots of ways to see if a song is popular, itunes and spotify are very age-biased and particularly spotify only reflects a very particular demographic

but you can see you how big the song was cos then the album sold thousands and thousands, why? cos of what about us, it wouldn't have if the song had been a flop, it would have been a joanne otherwise

Im not even a fan of Pink but that song was massive. My wife who doesn't really listen to music even loved it.

Because the few times I had it on this year, never heard it, just Coldplay and boring dance/hiphop and a couple of the big pop songs. Nope - Screech always has fans buying albums as she has always had a rabbid fan base, unlike GaGa or Katy Perry who have attracted casual listeners primarily - and then alienated them by releasing rubbish

Kinda disappointed that 'Gorgeous' never really became a proper hit.

Same, it's my favourite from this era.
