February 25, 20187 yr Really enjoyed this! Bring on the second series! So am I also, I have been to Derry in the last 18 months, fabulous city, relaxing to walk around. Only two complaints about the programme is.... 1 it is too short, 30 mins not enough & 2 too few episodes made 6 is not enough...
February 25, 20187 yr I would think it’ll come out soon! In the meantime It’s available on 4oD whenever you want it. I hope so! I move to Germany in 6 weeks where 4OD doesn’t work so would like to have it legally by then!

Only two complaints about the programme is.... 1 it is too short, 30 mins not enough & 2 too few episodes made 6 is not enough... Tell me about it! Channel 4 stuff is only 23 mins long when you account the time for the adverts too. Hopefully the new series will be on soon! I hope so! Good luck with your move, hopefully it’ll be out on DVD soon, but unfortunately I can’t see any listings for it on Amazon as of yet. :(

February 12, 20196 yr Series 2 trailer just premiered on Twitter: https://twitter.com/nicolacoughlan/status/1...0460389376?s=19 I am so excited for this already! Loved the first series, it was my favourite new show of last year.
February 12, 20196 yr Grata need. Can’t wait! Really enjoyed he first series so hoping the difficult second series doesn’t disappoint
February 20, 20196 yr How we've not had Series 1 on DVD is yet is criminal. Channel 4 need to - as Ma Mary might say - catch themselves on! Also, Ardal O'Hanlon - Father Dougal from 'Father Ted' of course - has been confirmed for a guest role this series: https://www.chortle.co.uk/news/2019/02/15/4...ins_derry_girls Edited February 20, 20196 yr by ThePensmith
March 8, 20196 yr Absolutely fantastic opener! So many brilliant one-liners "I said look sexy, not look like a f***ing blowfish" "Dreams" being used at the very end of the episode
March 8, 20196 yr "I do enjoy a good statue, it has to be said". Honestly, Sister Michael is a gift to this show. Likewise Granda Joe 'I heard that KD Lang on the radio. You're very talented you wee lesbians'
March 9, 20196 yr Father Peter is hilarious as well - been in a fair few Irish to shows including the classic Love Hate!
March 12, 20196 yr Episode 2 was absolutely ideal tonight. I was especially in hysterics when Ma Mary busted them for raiding the Christmas cupboard ('They've had the very Tunnocks, Mary')
