Posted January 19, 20187 yr fL6FaI-wJxs 1Ei-P-v-O2M Kylie's two most recent lead singles (ignoring the Christmas album), but which comeback do you prefer?
January 19, 20187 yr Author I adore 'Dancing' right now but 'Into the Blue' does just snatch this for me. Just so euphoric and I can still recall the feeling I had when listening for the first time.
January 19, 20187 yr Dancing. That said, neither Into the Blue or Dancing i feel are/were strong enough for the lead singles. Kylie needed a "moment" when launching Kiss Me Once and Golden and i don't think either songs are strong enough to say Kylie still has the magic.
January 21, 20187 yr I want to say 'Into The Blue', but I'm currently so obsessed with 'Dancing'. I think I need to let this settle for a few months before I cast my vote.
January 26, 20187 yr I voted "Dancing" when this poll came out, but now that we know this song for a week, it kind of burns out faster than expected. I only listen to it once or twice a day anymore. Maybe in the end I will prefer "Into The Blue" over "Dancing".
January 26, 20187 yr Author The poll was more to test people's immediate thoughts on 'Dancing'. I'm the opposite to you and have found that 'Dancing' has been even more of a grower over the past week.
January 27, 20187 yr I voted for 'Dancing' because it's a new and unexpected route for Kylie. That makes me excited. I loved 'Into The Blue' too. The lyrics resonated with me. But it didn't get me as interested in what was to come from the album. It felt familiar. I'm pleased Kylie is still taking risks, even if they don't pay off commercially. If she didn't do that, we wouldn't have 'Impossible Princess'.
April 4, 20187 yr With a bit of time now under its belt Dancing is so so much stronger than into the blue. Overall, i would THINK Dancing will also be more fondly remembered in years to come.
April 5, 20187 yr I was never really a fan of Into the blue, and I’m not massively a fan of Dancing but it is better.
April 6, 20187 yr I think I voted Into the Blue when the thread was made, but I'd say Dancing now! Both are fantastic.
