Posted January 27, 20187 yr From Ben Lee on SoundCloud: Never released recording. As part of a strange experiment, I wrote a song with my then 7 year old niece, Jacinta Reuben - a song about...rain. Then, of course, I asked the biggest Australian pop star of all time, Miss Kylie Minogue, to perform the song. And it has sat on my hard drive for about 15 years since then. So there you go. You heard it here first... a song co-written by myself and my 7 year old niece, performed by Kylie Minogue. Logical. From 2003. Seems quite odd on first listen but I find it really grows; there's something really endearing about Kylie's voice singing those simple lyrics.
May 22, 20196 yr Just stumbled across this song/demo recorded by Kylie in 98/99 in Australia called ‘Drip Drop’ - never heard it before but apparently it was written by the posters then 7 year old brother. https://m.soundcloud.com/user-547640425/dri...y-kylie-minogue Edited May 22, 20196 yr by ___∆___
May 22, 20196 yr Author (Merged with an existing topic, hope you don't mind) This is a really lovely little song. It's got the innocence of the little girl who helped write it but got the poignancy of someone that's lived. I really do adore it. Could make a great interlude on an album.

Thanks - must have missed it first time around! I actually really like it for what it is - love that Kylie has tried her hand at most things!
