Wow is quite cheesy pop song. Not my favourite track but it did ok in the charts. I wish they had released like a drug as 2nd single though.

Seems strange that it has been 10 years since her last properly successful post-album single! 'Wow' remains one of my favourites; instantly catchy and unashamedly poppy and fun.

Was never a fan of that short wig in the video though.

I loved it on the album and was obsessed with it around single release, but I have to admit some of the magic has worn off which hasn't quite been able to be recaptured.

Though I do still love it!

Again this was such a tune from her. Catchy as anything this. Still love this.

Promo was more quality than quantity for 'Wow' in comparison to the busy November/December promo that '2 Hearts' received, with two big slots in the shape of The X Factor and BRITs.

The BRIT Awards (20/02/08)

The BRITs performance is quite underwhelming for me, especially when you compare to her 2002 performance. I enjoy the X Factor one though.

Wow is a great pop song and one of the big highlights from the X era and most certainly the best single from the album.
I absolutely loved this at the time, I remember hearing this for the first time on her ITV special and instantly loved it and still rank it as one of my firm Kylie faves. I also would have preferred 'Like A Drug' as the 2nd single, then have this for this 3rd, but considering it was climbing up the charts several weeks before release, so it was an obvious choice to bring it out and plus it did increase the album sales, easily making this the most successful and most commercial from the X era.

Agreed! I personally would've loved it as the lead single, being so commercial.

Quite ahead of its time this from Kylie.
