I really hope it can make platinum but it has nearly 100,000 to go, it's a huge sales decline on their last 2 albums and unfortunately they will have to work even harder on the next album to turn the sales decline around.

Sadly album sales have declined so much in the past two years too. If they’d had the same chart run when glory Days was out they’d be on 290 - 310k by now :(

Glory Days charted higher than LM5 this week. They really let this album die.

The benefit of having more than 2 singles for streaming. If they'd released two more singles by now (which they could have) and they were all similar sized hits to TAU, it would have at least helped the album a lot

Surpassed 500 million streams on spotify. Their fastest album to do so apparently. Thought this was impressive especially with the messy era

I’m still so :( over how this album was treated.

Wrong lead single

Wrong follow up single

Promo was all off

Like the album itself is straight fire and still my second fave of theirs after Get Weird but the campaign was like the label wanted them to fail or something.

Chart-wise, Woman Like Me was a big hit for them so I don't think it was a wrong choice for a lead single. However, Strip definitely should've been the 2nd single. It got quite a good reception, reached #25 on the charts, with a bigger push could've been another top 20 hit for them. The era would've lasted longer with three singles (had TAU been the follow up to Strip), even if they underperformed. This way, they gave up way too early and this album certainly doesn't deserve that....

There's no way they should have not released WLM, I just think they should have released it in July instead of Only You.

Yeah, WLM was the most obvious single choice on the album. The girls obviously loved "Strip" and wanted it to be a single, even the lead. But SYCO didn't see it as a suitable single material. Ultimately, the labels pick/approve and support singles. I don't think any other major label would deem "Strip" a good single choice. What halted LM5 album campaign was that after WLM there was no other strong single choice on the album. "Think About Us" is a bit too bland and definitely not strong enough.

The girls need to put more thought and effort into their singles. The singles drive their success on all fronts. Also, good music videos help. They need to make music videos with replay value.

I don't understand how the label didn't scream MONSTER IN ME, in the winter months, could have at least tried to emulate Secret Love Songs success, plus Wasabi screamed out to be the "Power" of the album.

I agree with the no other tracks being pushed statement.

WLM was a good single tbh I know I said it was the wrong choice but I just think that’s my personal dislike of it.

I wish we got a ballad pushed for single two with X Factor slot or even better the Strictly one they had.

Compared to Get Weird and Glory Days the camp was done so poorly. I feel for them to be fair they deserved to be handled better.

Not really sure where to put this but it looks like a new album is in the works. The girls have been writing with Kamille all day and have wrote a total of 4 "bangers"

They gave up on LM5 very quickly which i partially understand.

That said, an updated version with some "bangers" could have reversed its fortunes and kept their platinum streak of albums ongoing.

It was to do with the label change. There were plenty of good songs on the album.

A few is plenty enough, they only needed like 2 more singles.

(And for the second single not to have taken 3 months oop)

LM5 is the most consistently good Little Mix album, but we can pretend otherwise because 'flop' = bad on Buzzjack.

Wasabi going viral on Tik Tok.. the hit that got away.
