FFS. Looks like I'll be digging another Chris Brown collab if this actually goes anywhere... 😭

I thought Body On Me would be the last!

I swear this Chris Brown thing has happened before with the girls so I hope nothing actually comes from it.

I gave this a full listen today and so much potential on here.

Strip, Wasbai, Monster In Me, The Cure and American Boy are all fire and Motivate Me, More Than Words and Notice all sounded really good today too.

Not pushing The Cure as a winter single was a big mistake imo. It would’ve really pushed album sales even further in Q4 and into Q1 2020.

Think About Us shouldn’t have been a single as good as it is.

The Cure and Wasabi should’ve been the post album singies in my opinion.

Wasabi had potential as being the Power of LM5.

It doesn’t have the high highs of Glory Days but I’d say its a lot more consistent throughout and given it’s an 18 track album it didn’t really drag on or feel like it was a chore to listen too.

The only real dud on the album for me is actually Woman Like Me

The album feels it has no driving force behind it.

The label switch was at the wrong time and likely accounts for many of the problems the album has experienced.

I can't believe when the album was released I thought that 'The Cure' was just OKAY, currently obsessed, the song I'm going back to the most (Including the singles.)

Yeah, I had it firmly mid-tier up until the Jesy documentary. Now I'd probably rank only 'Wasabi', FYN and 'Monster In Me' ahead of it. It would've made an incredible winter single.

Wasabi gets teased so often and i think it will become an official singles, and then it pulls back again.
They quite obviously would've made it a single if they had any means to do so. They literally can't release it.
When you say cant, are you saying the record company wont allow it?

I think there is some sort of contractual problem since 'Wasabi' was produced whilst they were signed by Syco. So either RCA doesn't want to promote Syco material OR Syco won't hand over the rights, or something along those lines.

I agree though, they could still release a video before Christmas and get away with it.

I don't know if it was due to the replacement of their songs' versions that are on Spotify, but I feel like it is. Black Magic and Shout Out have been constantly falling amongst their most popular tracks, probably due to the loss of playlisting.

What's interesting is that Wasabi's back in the Top 5 with a total of 84M streams, we love their most organic "hit". Woman Like Me climbed too.
