If they had a radio single in the USA the album would have done much better. Woman like me has been on the USA Spotify top 100 since its release but not sending it for radio adds is a big mistake. The demand is their in the USA but Little Mix and their management need to make a push if they want USA success.

1st of all. Underperformance? Ermmm.. where? They're on track to spend a 2nd week top 5, whilst an album selling act that charted higher in the same week is set to miss the top 10.

2nd of all, if your claim was done on album name, then WTF does Jess Glynne have a 4 x platinum (might actually be more) album with her debut 'I Cry When I Fart' or whatever it is?

Success of an album being down to the album name is quite frankly one of the most ludicrous things I've heard of on here

I mean, LM5 is awful and lazy title.

But I don't think its what the lower sales are down too.

If anything it be WLM isn't an album selling single isn't as catchy as shout out to my ex.

Just catching up god knows why they're wasting a strictly performance on WLM it won't do anything for the album.

I don't mind LM5, but I think "Strip" or "Woman's World" would have been a better album title.

Yes they would of!

But whatever it was called it would of had the same performance chart wise.

Not worried about sales yet, Will still go platinum over Christmas / new year.

Will it outsell GW / GD probably not however it will still go double platinum in the long run I think.

LM5 is so bland and "fan title", I mean Lady Gaga is preparing her LG6 in fan forums.. To me the best album title also sells the album: think about Adele's string of 19, 21, 25, Coldplay's A Rush of Blood to the Head, Lady Gaga's Born This Way or even Ed Sheerans +, x and Divide. They have a meaning. What's the meaning behind LM5 for casual listener? Two letters and a number.

Sorry but what's the meaning of +, x and Divide and how would it sell an album?

Even Adele's are a stretch.

It's just the name of the album. Singles are what sell the albums. If you have a poor selling single leading the album, chances are, the album is gonna be a poor seller too.

Can't see album titles mattering that much. If anything, being such a naff name probably brings more publicity to the album itself. I just can't see someone thinking "I was interested in buying that album but I don't like the title so I won't".

If we're talking about album artwork then that's definitely something I could see persuading people to buy or not buy.

It's meant to be a fan title, that's the entire point of the name. The idea of "Woman's World" to me feels much worse and just reminds me of Woman's Own, like they're servicing this album to stay at home 40+ mums.
I like LM5 far more than "Woman's World", now there's a name that would have put me off listening to the album, Strip would have been nice though. But for me, the main reason is Woman Like Me being the lead, I wouldn't have minded if they released it earlier in the year, then followed with a second single then released the album off the back of that.
Got to admit I don't really get the idea that the title is meant to be for the fans or that the fans are meant to be thrilled that Little Mix "chose" something they came up with when in fact every female popstar's unnamed album gets referred to by their initials and whatever number album it will be.
Wonderful to see it on course to remain Top 5 amid a lot of competition from new releases.

It won't go any higher than #5 this week, but it won't fall any lower, either. What are the big releases next week? I think The 1975 is the only one (Clean Bandit's won't do massively well as dance/producer albums never do) so it might climb a place.
