February 5, 20188 yr The greatest showman will be the biggest selling album of the year. Keala is performing This is me is on Graham Norton this Friday and at the Oscars. Plus it will have the dvd release and everyone singing This is me on X factor this year. It wont even be close in the race to YE biggest selling album.
February 5, 20188 yr cannot really see the appeal of the Greatest showman soundtrack, or the This is Me song, too much shouting i was hoping they'd give the oscar for best song to Sufjan Stevens for Mystery of love, but I guess he won't, since he's not even been invited to perform :/
February 5, 20188 yr Until the BRITS i guess What do you think the BRITs will boost to #1? I guess Ed Sheeran is the obvious answer but I don't know if he will, TGS is massively outselling him each week now and showing no signs of slowing down.

I'm pleased something different that has grown organically is ruling the charts right now.

February 5, 20188 yr 2 new entries behind - he could end at #4, just like Witness!! Witness entered at #6 - he will be all right for Top 3. Simple Minds on course for Top 5 will be an excellent result for them.
February 5, 20188 yr I never thought Simple Minds would get a top 3 placing with this album, its actually pretty good, been listening to it in the background, goes to show there is still Simple Minds fans out there, and probably gathering up new fans, there is still life in old bands/ acts, OMD, Gary Numan, etc etc.

February 5, 20188 yr Incredible how well some of these film soundtracks have sold lately, I expect Black Panther soundtrack will be a huge seller but will ofcourse be in compilation charts
February 5, 20188 yr Hailee Steinfeld feat. Alesso, Florida Georgia Line & watt - Let Me Go has been around for ages. Be nice if it finally goes Top 40, I was enjoying months ago and was sort of over it before Xmas! Presumably if everybody who's on the record buys a copy that will be enough to get it a Top 40 placing?
