I'm ready!!

The posts she has made on Instagram plus this cover - I think we're gonna be heading for something a lot more adult

Aaaah! :)

My friend was playing Innocent Eyes in the car a couple of weeks ago and it made me go back through her entire discography over these past few days so this timing is literally perfection. I never really liked much of Wings of the Wild when it came out, but listening to it now I love it all. So I have high expectations...

Delta Goodrem reveals her X-Ray vision on saucy new single

DELTA Goodrem’s new single features her sexiest lyrics to date.

Think About You includes the opening line “Every time I look at you your clothes are coming off” and the chorus runs “I think about you naked when I’m looking at you.”

The instantly-catchy pop song was written with the team behind Niall Horan’s global smash Slow Hands.

Goodrem said the fun and flirty Think About You, released this Friday, is deliberately upbeat.

“Every chapter of my career has been different and right now, with this song, I want people to just have fun.”

The song’s bridge features the lyric “Too many days I think about it, too many nights I’ve spent without it, I need a way to get this started, get you out of my head and get you into my arms.”

The song’s lyrics recall the change in image Goodrem’s hero Olivia Newton-John made with her 1981 hit Physical.

Goodrem has been teasing fans with snippets of Think About You on her social media all week.

It is her first new material since 2016’s No. 1 album Wings of the Wild. She is expected to film a video for the song later this month.

Goodrem is currently recording the new series of The Voice in Sydney for Channel 9.

Her Newton-John biopic Hopelessly Devoted to You has yet to have a confirmed air date on Channel 7, but is tipped to screen after the Commonwealth Games.

Goodrem has recorded Newton-John’s biggest hits for a soundtrack album for the biopic.

Think About You is available to buy or stream on Friday or pre-order here.

Omg hype! I'm interested to see exactly how this sound change goes down but she pretty much always brings it.

It's very generic and Sexual-esque but does sound like a 2018 hit, which it obviously won't be  :(

Super catchy chorus melody though, I like it!

It sounds to me more promo song than lead single, if that makes any sense.
This is low-key slight bop but nothing more  A lot of artists have done pretty much this exact song much better, it doesn't go anywhere really. It would be amazing with a bit of a drop or bigger chorus perhaps. It is very current though and good for her for trying something different. As said above it could grow, as it's not an instant impactful hit it might end up working its way into my affections.

Obviously different for her but it's a welcome refresh in image and sound I think!! Very catchy, very current and a definite earworm.

Already #1 on Australian iTunes, Bebe at #2 is down to 0.66! Also song #1 on their New Music Friday playlist :D

Hopefully she’ll debut higher than Kylie did in Australia, who had the same support (and instant radio support also, yet to see if Delta will but I’m sure she will)
I don’t think this is very good. More about style than substance with her image change. She’s done way better and her voice doesn’t sound as strong as usual!
I’ll be honest first time I heard this I didn’t think much about it, but I’ve listened to it a few times now & I love it!! Sounds very fresh & she just sounds as amazing as ever.
What I am hearing a typical mismatch between the vocal and the genre. Delta's voice is too good for this, give it to Kylie and she would fare far better.
I've only heard it the once so far but I can't say I was overly impressed :(

I’ve had this on my 'down under' playlist as it felt fitting - I quite like he song but it’s so hard to believe it’s Delta! Feels more like a Holly Valance comeback.
