Has anyone been watching the revived Queer Eye?

 

 

It's got a huge amount of praise for it's tone and it's approach to the original concept. I've been watching the first episode and it's absolutely hilarious and quite heartwarming

can i have both Karamo and Antoni's children plz?

 

I watched two episodes and before that I had thought they were more about actual makeovers but actually they are trying to dig deeper than that which is nice. Obviously it's not possible to do anything drastic within a few days but the effort is very kewl~

from what i'm seeing it's such a Jonathan show at the moment. he's really dominating every scene he's in. not that i mind as I find him hysterical

Antoine is so pretty. He’s a proper scene stealer

Really enjoying this! Glad this revival has proven itself to be a hit. It's very feel-good - a good balance of amusing and emotional. It's surprisingly binge-worthy stuff, I happily watched the first four episodes in a day!

 

The star of the show for me is definitely Jonathan. Really funny and I admire how unapologetically himself he is at all times. :heart: Karamo & Antoni are good guy candy. *.* I like all five tbh.

I am suffering from withdrawal from QE already. 8 episodes was not enough!!! I'm already tempted to rewatch them :lol:

 

 

Having watched the full thing, Johnathan is for sure my favourite of the new Fab5. He is hilarious and living his best life and that's awesome

Season 2 officially confirmed!!! QE will return later in 2018!

Omg I've just watched the first episode and this is so adorable, I could have wept for hours when Tom cried because they were saying he was a great man and he was so overwhelmed at what had been done <3

Episode 1 is super cute. Their reaction to "You can't fix ugly" was the moment I think that sold the show to me.

So this is out and I'm on episode 3. I am a wreck of a human. I have cried so f***ing much.

 

Ep1 was so pure and wonderful and then episode 2 just destroyed me. #nospoilers but that ending was probably the more lovely and heartwarming and genuine thing I've ever seen on a tv show.

Felling a little betrayed by netflix here. I had a bit of a hunch that built up to a gut feeling by episode 7 that this season wasn't really a 'renewal' but more like a release of additional episodes already filmed.

 

So I googled. The event at the end of episode 7 took place in August 2017. So yeah, not so much a renewal as a release of more episodes from season 1.

Episode 1 was amazing, I haven't watched the rest yet but what a strong opener! Tammye is such an amazing woman.

I must have missed that!!! Bit disingenuous to claim it's a new season then but hopefully we will get a proper new season of both, they're both fab

i'm finally catching up. the gay guy from s01e04 is gorgeous omfg. so is his boyfriend. i had to pause for a whole minute when he went out wearing that harness. i was GAGGING. best episode so far because of the whole coming out thing which felt extremely genuine and relatable

Renewed for Season 3!!! Season 3 will see the Fab5 will relocate to Kansas City!
