March 23, 20187 yr She's on Sport Relief tonight appaz. Well, she's "getting involved" so I have no idea if she's performing or not!
March 24, 20187 yr I don't think that's tragic at all. Considering her stature, that's a decent start and already a top 75 record. Oh, and I'm liking this the more I hear it. It kind of makes me feel nostalgic. It's definitely something I think Alexandra Burke would've released at the height of her popularity. I can also finally remember how it goes :P Edited March 24, 20187 yr by Midge
March 24, 20187 yr This is growing off me if anything, adored it on first listen but with more listens I'm hearing a bit of cheap/tackiness to it. I still like it though.
March 25, 20187 yr If only unequivocal love on Buzzjack had any impact on the chart she’d have a #1 now :P
March 25, 20187 yr this is really poor. she has the potential to put something fresh and catchy out yet her team decided that THIS massively over-exaggerated attempt at replicating a completely tired style was a good idea? maybe this would have sounded alright in 2010, but there's nothing bringing me back to this (also the 2 Chainz feature makes absolutely no sense considering the style of the song)
March 25, 20187 yr oh3ImCddrbw She's gonna be the UK's version of Tinashe isn't she? (aka a performer and a singer but doesn't get the recognition)
March 25, 20187 yr She's like a mix of Britney and Xtina LOL anyway where's the music video The song's only been out a week!
March 25, 20187 yr I mean the more I hear it the more it sounds like a real gay anthem song. Pluses to that, it's going to appeal to a rabid fanbase and get her some (more) dedicated fanboys... Minuses, it has virtually no appeal to the general straight music-buying public except as a novelty if even that. She needs female fans and I honestly don't think I've seen any girls anywhere online stanning this or even particularly interested at all.

March 26, 20187 yr oh3ImCddrbw She's gonna be the UK's version of Tinashe isn't she? (aka a performer and a singer but doesn't get the recognition) I NEED a live performance of this in TV (and I don't mean an acoustic one).
March 26, 20187 yr I feel as though she’s trying too hard to shake off the X Factor / good girl tag at the moment and it just doesn’t seem genuine too me. I feel for her because she just needs that one song to give her a good shot at getting that album out. I do like her but I think she’d have done a lot better had she not won the show. I can’t see this being a huge hit though maybe low top 40 but wouldn’t shock me if it done a Best Behaviour and peaked outside of that area I just don’t think it’s her I actually think Little Mix would’ve done better on YES for some reason. March 26, 20187 yr Down to #83 in today's midweeks, not too bad considering it could have easily fallen straight out, but doesn't bode well for a future big hit either.
March 26, 20187 yr what does ‘fresh’ and ‘catchy’ sound like mdh? i mean it's totally subjective but in my opinion the new wave of abstract pop from the likes of Clairo and Billie Eilish is pretty good. doesn't rely on anything that's already been done but it's still accessible. also i'd call people like SZA, Kali Uchis and H.E.R fresh and catchy, they've got some great interpretations of r&b influenced pop. what's your idea of 'fresh' and 'catchy'?
