In case anyone was wondering, I turned down the opportunity to host as due to current work commitments, I didn't feel that I couldn't run the contest to the high quality that Buzzjack deserves, especially after the wonderful job that the last two Buzzjack hosts made of hosting the contest. The next time I find myself in such a position, and presuming my real life commitments don't get in the way, I very much intend to host (although whether Alteria will ever reach those giddy heights again remains to be seen).

 

Still haven't decided what to enter into this contest. Given that I appear to have a 50% chance of getting an auto-qualifier, I am severely tempted to go completely off-the-wall, although knowing my luck we'll get an odd number of participants and I'll bomb out in the semis.
