Aye I am physically available tonight but I realised I have stuff to do for tomorrow, so Sunday is best.
Is the afternoon good or do yous prefer the evening? My discord username's 'Tielsie' and my tag is #8926.
Our plans have changed so unfortunately not but we’ll try and make the next one. :(

That's okay, we're planning to do it again next week so you can hotjoin into a country somewhere (I don't recommend Castile though, they have had a ROUGH game).

me as Utrecht, Jacob as Trier, Harve as Brunswick and we're carving up the north-west HRE.

Are you guys up for round 2 at some point? I can't do this weekend but I'm free most/all weeknights next week.
I'll be chilling online at around 7:30 then! Hit me up x

Might as well post my Byzantium game at its peak (the 2nd one that is).

Reclaimed the old Eastern Roman Empire and a bit further, and got Rome back/ parts of Italy. Was pretty chuffed with this game (especially considering Byzantium's starting position, they usually die within the first 10 years of the game if they're AI).

What happened after this, did you start losing territories and Timurids or Russia with their big empires declared war on you?

Btw, I have to reinstall Crusader kings 2 soon. Was laggy on my old computer so didn't play much of it, but now I have a better one, it should work better. Played Europa Universalis Rome before and enjoyed it though. The only thing about these games that would make them better is the option of viewing the battles though. Maybe not exactly the same as Total War though, more like Gates Of Troy where you set up the formations and tactics before hand and press play to view the battle play out. Being able to view your cities would be good too to increase immersion.

1820 is the end of the game in EU4 so there wasn't anything 'next' (for reasons like that's pretty much where early-modern warfare ends). Pretty sure Jacob's empire was much stronger than Timmy/Russia, the size is misleading, the territories he's holding would make him far stronger militarily so they wouldn't dare (if he's not allied to one of them, I can't say for sure but a Russia alliance is common when one plays Byzantium).

Hope you enjoy! You can view the battles as data in these games and that's a lot more interesting personally, because I don't want to spend ages on each battle. If I unusually have the urge to do that I can go play Total War.
