February 5, 20196 yr I would have preferred an uptempo as comeback/lead single but yay her ballads are good, really like Lies for instance
February 5, 20196 yr I am very excited for this. This week has been awful thus far and this is something to look forward to!
February 7, 20196 yr I like it but don't love it I think she should have come back with something with more of an oomph, with more guts, more punch, actually something more in the vein of Prima Donna or Hollywood, those are great lead singles Also I think this is a bit same-y, half of her last album sounded like this, really doesn't show much progress or evolution
February 8, 20196 yr It is all very "Happy" Pt II at the beginning and after one listen I am not sure how I feel.
February 8, 20196 yr Just listened to this a few times. Firstly, this is the first time that Marina has ever led (properly) with a ballad, so that’s a change. On the first few listens, it sounds a little MOR but it’s great to hear her voice on a new record and I’d imagine it’s definitely a grower. Also, Marina is the kind of person who wouldn’t release it if she felt it wasn’t important/relevant. She also said that the first single in no way represents the album. For now, I’m going to just take it as it is, and enjoy it.
February 8, 20196 yr Video premiering at 5pm GMT GiOGlYjKgX8 I really like this after a couple of listens, Marina's voice sounds gorgeous, particularly during the intro and chorus, it's so refreshing after her last two releases with Clean Bandit #5 on New Music Friday and already top 40 on iTunes so hopefully this has a good chance at a decent debut next week. No Radio 1 support but we all know how long it took them to pick up Baby so fingers crossed they do get on-board sooner rather than later
February 8, 20196 yr this is absolutely beautiful- the production is AMAZING. It feels so classic marina but also new, I’m so ready for this era
February 8, 20196 yr Handmade Heaven iTunes: #1 Bulgaria #4 Poland #6 Greece #10 Brazil #12 Mexico #13 Spain #14 Finland #18 United Arab Emirates #25 United Kingdom #25 Ireland #29 New Zealand #57 United States #57 Russia #61 Denmark #67 Italy #80 Australia #95 Belgium :o :o :o :o HOW.
February 8, 20196 yr wow surprised, especially at her US position in other countries, must be due to low sales, ie in Spain, I read the other day you make the top 100 with 1 sale
February 8, 20196 yr Like this a lot, but I'm still not liking the names sans The Diamonds. Edited February 8, 20196 yr by andeeeeyhart
