His performances evolved from grime-only music that showed a love of artists like Skepta to more rap-oriented material that reflected Stormzy's growing appreciation for artists like Drake. Late in 2013 he began uploading his "Wicked Skengman" series of freestyles over classic grime beats; in 2014, he made his official debut with the EP Dreamers Disease. A year later he released the single "Know Me From" along with "WickedSkengMan 4," the first track in his "WickedSkengMan" freestyle series and a Top 20 hit in the U.K. That December, Stormzy performed the single's B-side, "Shut Up," at a match between heavyweight boxers Anthony Joshua and Dillian Whyte. The song jumped into the Top 40 following the broadcast, and the rapper launched a campaign to have the song top the charts during Christmas. This boosted the track to the number eight position, and the number one position on the R&B singles chart. Before returning to the studio to record his debut LP, he released non-album single "Scary" in the spring of 2016. Stormzy returned in 2017 with Gang Signs & Prayer (#Merky Records), which featured the single "Big for Your Boots" and appearances by Kehlani, MNEK, and Ghetts. - iTunes Top 100 Chart History Stormzy 2015 49 Know Me From -NAS- 2015 18 WickedSkengMan 4 -NAS- 2015 08 Shut Up -1- 2015 49 Dude (Lethal Bizzle & Stormzy) 2017 06 Big For Your Boots -2- 2017 21 Cold -3- 2017 22 Bad Boys (Stormzy feat. Influenced by similarly precocious troubadours like Bob Dylan and Hank Williams, Ezra was just 19 when he issued his debut single, "Budapest," a warm, amiable, and soulful slice of classy folk-pop that invoked names like Willy Mason, Ben Howard, Ray LaMontagne, and Tom Odell. That song, along with three others, appeared on his 2013 debut EP, Did You Hear the Rain? Increased touring and an appearance at Glastonbury preceded his second EP, Cassy O', which arrived in early 2014. "Budapest" was re-released in June of that year, followed a few weeks later by Ezra's debut LP, Wanted on Voyage. The album entered the U.K. charts at number three and eventually climbed into the top spot by year's end, earning him four Brit Award nominations and a North American tour supporting Sam Smith in early 2015. During this period he made his American television debut with appearances on Saturday Night Live and The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, increasing his exposure. In April 2017, Ezra announced a "top secret" U.K. tour, during which he would debut new material. It was accompanied by the release of "Don't Matter Now," the lead single from his follow-up LP. A second single, "Paradise," was released in January 2018 followed by the announcement that Ezra's second album, Staying at Tamara's, would arrive in March of that year. - iTunes Top 100 Chart History 2013 03 Budapest -1/3- MILLIONAIRE 2014 95 Leaving It Up To You -IG- 2014 06 Blame It On Me -4- 2014 41 Listen To The Man -5- 2015 70 Cassy O' -2/6- 2017 66 Don't Matter Now -1- 2018 05 Paradise -2- 2018 95 Hold My Girl -IG- 2018 35 Shotgun -AT- Social Media http://i.imgur.com/sx7weFD.png http://i.imgur.com/P4ObJLe.png http://i.imgur.com/TUafYW0.png http://i.imgur.com/1SERq1f.png

Born Sigrid Solbakk Raabe on September 5, 1996 into a music-loving family and brought up in the sunny seaport of Ålesund in western Norway, about 300 miles from Oslo, she was the youngest of three siblings, each of whom had their own musical career. Her sister Johanne was a classically trained singer who had studied in Italy and Spain, while her brother Tellef had tasted indie success at home with his own band. Growing up influenced by classic artists like Joni Mitchell, Chet Baker, and Neil Young, she was taught to play the piano at an early age by her grandmother and guitar by her brother, and for ten years was a dancer, studying several different styles. After a stint in her brother's band, Sigrid turned her hand to songwriting and launched her solo career in October 2013 at the tender age of 16 with the single "Sun," which saw her featured on NRK's (Norwegian state television) hip tastemaker show Urørt (Untouched). Two further singles, "Two Fish" and "Known You Forever," alongside spellbinding performances at several major European music festivals, sealed her reputation as a superbly talented songwriter and performer. With her rich, powerful, versatile voice and elfin good looks, she seemed ready-made for pop superstardom, and the ensuing bidding war finally saw her signed to Island. She delivered on the promise with her epic, anthemic debut single for the label, "Don't Kill My Vibe," released in February 2017. Co-written and produced by Martin Sjølie (Ella Henderson, Sam Smith), it was unveiled with much fanfare on BBC Radio 1, becoming their "Hottest Record in the World," and immediately racked up millions of plays on streaming services. The equally successful single "Strangers" followed that November. - iTunes Top 100 Chart History 2017 62 Don't Kill My Vibe -1- 2018 10 Strangers -2- Social Media http://i.imgur.com/sx7weFD.png http://i.imgur.com/P4ObJLe.png http://i.imgur.com/TUafYW0.png http://i.imgur.com/1SERq1f.png
