lol.

I'm all up for having more turns at #1's during year rather long running #1's!!!

I thought you were saying all week you were hoping it didn’t go to #1?

I’m really a bit surprised that Ariana has such huge leads around the world but the Uk is the only major market where it isn’t like 50%+ over the competition. I thought the Uk would be her biggest....if could be relative to the fact One Kiss has such a huge lead compared to other markets though.

doesn’t the UK always take an age to catch on too? like, as the song builds by word of mouth, it’ll gain a bigger lead.

Yeah. It's def coz One Kiss is just as huge right now and with two of the UK's biggest artists on the track it obviously has more appeal in the UK than elsewhere (where charts seem to be a bit slower and need time to grow etc..)

Ariana's lead is perfectly fine imo.

yeap. take Portugal. The Man as an example.

Also, isn't the UK one of the only markets where she isn't discounted? I read that she was $.69 in the US and then someone said that she has discounted elsewhere too.

I mean, it is. But after Graham tonight she probably won’t be #1 any longer and will not be debuting there like everywhere else.

Dan, it’s only discounted in the US.

With the sad news of Avicii's death, I guess we are now to expect some of his hits shooting up. I'd love to see "Friend Of Mine" become a hit from his latest EP. I'm just astonished at this news.

With only 20% lead and tonight Graham Norton? They will take the number 1 easily this week. Their streams are over the roof also.
Yeah sad news about aviccii Was literally given 10 seconds on itv news just now (don't know if it is because it's just breaking) but it felt a little disrespectful considering he is arguably one of the biggest artists of the last 10 years
Shocked at this tragic news, my mate just txt me to tell me. I'm guessing Wake Me Up will be the main song of his that shoots up the charts.
