She is the SLOWEST artist to release anything ever. BRING BACK THE FAME/MONSTER era where she released something every couple of months! :angry:

HUH? She just released a new album 43 weeks ago LOL and a single from it is still charting and so is the album.

 

It's no different to her album release cycles with TF, TFM and BTW.

Why everyone thinks it's a pop star in the first place? I haven't seen any sources about that.

 

There’s nothing confirmed on it being a musician but I think it’s because a pop star coming back is big news and releasing something the next day as well would generate a lot of hype.

 

Like whoever it is has some kind of big announcement or big news to make. I don’t think a film star / actor or a sports star would have the same level of hype as a musician would personally.

 

It fits better that it’s a musician just based off the day of the week it is with the release of the music being the next day or just hours after the said announcement.

 

We’ve had some huge build ups before though that have turned out to be nothing.

I’m guessing all the interview segments may have already been pre recorded and there’s some form of gagging order out to stop the person (or persons) actually being confirmed by name.

Her release date was coming up for the second single. She has the video all ready, too.

Gaga isn't the sort of artist to just appear on all the talk shows unannounced.

With Katy she’s already released a lead single or comeback single so having all this promo and a TV takeover for single two feels a bit strange and the secrecy element too. Like she’s already in the public eye having released a new song not all that long ago. If this was for Never Really Over id have got it but for single 2 not so much.
