Easily a big hit and a potential Number 1 for Kylie.

All things factored in, Dancing has done very well and it still will pick up further sales.

Love the boost ‘Dancing’ always gets - in terms of recognition from the GP this is definitely a ‘hit’. Should get a decent Glastonbury boost too :cheer: Would love this to be certified silver soon too.

I like the song its very catchy, my sister sang it with my nephew and put the video on instagram and tagged kylie and Kylie commented that they are so cute, shes so sweet, this I will never forget when I hear Dancing.

But anyway, for me if it didnt leak and was released with physicals on the same week the song had a good chance of landing in the top 20/30...

Re-entered at #88 on the sales chart last week. It's run to date:

Dancing

NE: 15-55-37-57-62-11-21-29-52-37-52-13-23-46-62-81 (first entry: 01/02/18) 16w

RE: 63 (second entry: 04/10/18) 1w

RE: 88 (third entry: 11/07/19) 1w

Total: 18w

I have said this in previous posts.

Dancing feels a much bigger hit than some of her singles that made the Top 10 such as Chocolate, Giving You Up and In My Arms to name just a few.

Yeah Dancing I'd say is a well known little ditty for her. It feels a lot more known than Into the Blue for example, despite a much lower peak.

It definitely feels like a song that will stand the test of time within her own discography. The reaction to it when performed at Glastonbury, its placing on the greatest hits, the boosts on iTunes at the slightest sniff of promotion... it all seems to secure its place as a Kylie classic.

I imagine it's still a way off but if this could one day go Silver it would the icing on the cake.
