Australia are nearly just as big on the song as we are too, it's a mainstay in your weekly Spotify top 100.

Interestingly it's only been properly big recently since they played the AFL Grand Final last year. I've been keeping weekly record of the iTunes chart for a couple years now and in the past year it's become a top 200 mainstay though it was pretty much never there before that. Unfortunately because our charts are hopeless, its streams have never been counted towards it, so it has only charted for 1 week since its initial chart run in 2005. -_-

Mr. Brightside is one of the biggest hits of the 2000s in streaming. I think only Lose Yourself is more popular? Definitely not many songs are anyway
In terms of global all-time Spotify plays, it's the 3rd biggest; these are the top 10:

550 million: Eminem - Lose Yourself

491 million: Coldplay - The Scientist

483 million: The Killers - Mr. Brightside

482 million: Jason Mraz - I'm Yours

480 million: Eminem feat. Nate Dogg - 'Till I Collapse

445 million: Beyoncé - Halo

427 million: Kanye West - Stronger

405 million: Linkin Park - In The End

397 million: Coldplay - Viva La Vida

385 million: Coldplay - Fix You

For 2018 alone, 'Mr. Brightside' is narrowly the biggest, with about 89 million plays this year so far, though 'I'm Yours' is catching up lately.

In the UK specifically, it's got to be the biggest of... pretty much anything. On Kworb's UK Spotify totals page from the weekly charts since 2013, it's #16, ahead of huge hits like 'Havana', 'Lean On', 'God's Plan', the eternal long-runner 'Photograph', 'Rockabye', and so on.

480 million: Eminem feat. Nate Dogg - 'Till I Collapse

Really? :o

Really? :o
Yep! I was really surprised if not confused when I became aware of its Spotify popularity a few years ago, because I'd never heard of it but knew it wasn't one of his many hit singles, but I eventually got used to it. I think the fact that it wasn't a single at all, as opposed to being a flop single, is significant, as maybe the 10-20+ million people who bought the album loved the song and spread the word, but there was no way for that to get recorded. (A comparable case, though I don't know its history, might be Fleetwood Mac's 'The Chain', which wasn't a single but is one of their most popular songs now. 2Pac's 'Ambitionz Az A Ridah' is possibly another.) Wikipedia says 'Till I Collapse' has been used numerous times as entrance songs in sports and in TV spots (including a 2009 'Call Of Duty' ad that brought it to #73 on the UK chart, if Wikipedia's attribution is correct), which probably helped bring it into a public consciousness of sorts. (Fort Minor's 'Remember The Name' is a similar case on that part.) And I suppose it's a song that people really connect with once they hear it; I recall seeing once that it was one of the most commonly-included songs in user-made 'Workout' playlists, and I can easily imagine that there's a huge audience of 13-year-old white boys Eminem fans happy to look to him for pump-up songs. It's worth noting that its success isn't confined to Spotify; there's a fanmade YouTube video of it set to a movie clip that has 276 million views since 2015. It's interesting to think how most people discovering Eminem now would probably be introduced to 'Till I Collapse' straight away as one of his biggest songs, so the transition is likely complete. I can't wait to hear it mistakenly played at a 2002 hits nostalgia party. (tries to avoid making a '2002' joke for once)

Yh it's in the top 5 songs on there. (Also same with Bad Vibe nearly top 20, My Way top 100 and I'm presuming The Middle has climbed as well)!

Now can they just add delicate or the Seeb remix high up on summer hits next week plz x

Also BLACKPINK are new at 182 *.*

Only just realised that Anne-Marie is #1 on Spotify when ACR is factored in.

I'm not surprised about its Spotify performance because it always used to be selling well on iTunes before that as well.

08 5 Seconds Of Summer - Youngblood
