June 19, 20187 yr Does Gryffin still make music? I haven’t heard a thing about him(?) since Whole Heart, but I really loved that when it came out (tbh Dance music in 2016 was almost as good as Dance in 2014) Gryffin is still around! His new one Winnebago is pretty shit, but he’s had a few tunes since Whole Heart! Including an amaze collab with Illenium
June 19, 20187 yr I've been desperate for new Swedish House Mafia since they got back together, hopefully it's not too long!
June 21, 20187 yr Klingande has been going downhill since Jubel & Punga. Excuse me? His last releases are quite good actually! e.g. Rebel Yell or Hope For Tomorrow. Does Gryffin still make music? I haven’t heard a thing about him(?) since Whole Heart, but I really loved that when it came out (tbh Dance music in 2016 was almost as good as Dance in 2014) Yes, he does, his next track has Iselin Solheim featured on. November 13, 20195 yr Author 2020 needs to see the return of; DJ Fresh Clean Bandit Rudimental Major Lazer James Hype AlunaGeorge Philip George Offaiah Zedd MK Any other dance producers you want to hear new music from next year?
November 13, 20195 yr Author Zedd hasn't gone away though :P Would still like to see nee music from him featuring a new selection of popular recording artists!
November 13, 20195 yr main hope is for new album cycles from Disclosure and Calvin Harris plus a Swedish House Mafia release would also love a Porter Robinson return DJ Fresh has a new song this week actually but I'm not a fan of it sadly.
November 14, 20195 yr 2020 needs to see the return of; DJ Fresh Clean Bandit Rudimental Major Lazer James Hype AlunaGeorge Philip George Offaiah Zedd MK Any other dance producers you want to hear new music from next year? Offaiah is still very active, he just makes less radio friendly house music. Major Lazer are still here, the just don't have the chart succes they used to have (altough tracks like "Que Calor" defiinitely deserve it). James Hype is also active but he's mostly releasing remixes.
November 14, 20195 yr Zedd hasn't gone away though :Pcant blame him though, Good Thing hasn’t done shit
November 19, 20195 yr Author Can we please get a sequel from Europa, created by Jax Jones and Martin Solveig earlier in the summer. Another reworked Insomniaesque single would work a treat! Is there anything rumoured from them?
November 19, 20195 yr I assume Joel Corry and Regard will have follow ups to their debut hits soon. MK already has a new track out iirc, and yes awardinary another Europa single would be great, I would call 'All Day And Night' Don't You Want Me - Felix-esque (arguably the dance track that really started that big synth style) as much as Insomnia-esque though, was a great track anyway.
November 19, 20195 yr And whilst Europa has been brought up (and I'd love some more from them), whatever happened to Silk City? I thought we were meant to have another single from them with Dua Lipa by now too though I suppose Dua's now pushing her own new project.

December 20, 20195 yr Author Europa aside, I expect big things from Solardo, Meduza, Kygo and Camelphat in 2020. I think James Hype could come up with some surprises next year too. Outside chance of Duke Dumont getting a hit single and probably more new music from Marshmello in time. Then of course there is Sir Calvin Harris who inevitably will storm the charts with something massive. Anyone else on the dance radar?
December 1, 20204 yr Author 2020 needs to see the return of; DJ Fresh Clean Bandit Rudimental Major Lazer James Hype AlunaGeorge Philip George Offaiah Zedd MK Looking at that list now, I would say we have pretty much seen new music from all of these producers, albeit some has been better than others, but it has been refreshing to see all these names giving us new content in the past 12 months. When I thought about it, most well known dance producers have managed to release something new in 2020, which when you consider that despite a pandemic is quite impressive. I hope that the likes of Calvin Harris (with his own alias and not as Love Regenerator), Jax Jones, Clean Bandit and Rudimental continue to release commercial music featuring popular artists. I’d like Disclosure to continue working on new music and not allow years to pass until we hear from them again. Clean Bandit, Sigala, James Hype and Fisher are names I hope we continue to see new music from soon too. I wouldn’t be surprised if the likes of CamelPhat, Disclosure and Solardo take a break from releasing new music in 2021, but I’d be happy to be proved wrong.
