Now for the biggie that is kinda already revealed :P

What do they all have in common?

30 Points: Released during a year in which the UK won Eurovision: No one

I based my search for this "bonus round" around Eurovision but I figured just finding Eurovision act's artwork was too easy :P Obviously this similarity was a little too deep but oh well there's the big 30-pointer that no one got!

20 Points - Peaked at #2 in the UK Albums Chart: CianS, Riser

This was the other main criteria I had, as otherwise I probably would've gone for The Verve instead of BSB

10 Points - Released before the year 2000: UltraReputation

A last minute addition to my point system which is technically correct but for some reason I didn't think of it :P

0 Points: cantthinkofaname "among the best selling albums of all time", Jade "80s albums", vibe "all sophomore albums", Zarate "80s rock bands", Rush "Self-titled albums", Dobbo "Self-titled albums", Suedehead2 "American states", Chez Wombat "90s acts that have come back"

Most of these were made without knowing all of the above albums, so no Zarate does not think Backstreet Boys are an 80s rock band  (i hope not anywho)

Perhaps you should submit the question (using the whole of the cover art but with the title removed) as a question for Only Connect. You'd have to drop one of them of course.

That makes up for losing 12pts for channel orange haha 😂 I knew I didn't recognise any of them and they all looked quite old 😂

Singles was a mess cos I knew like half of them and nothing came to mind :( (and I've just remembered what 2 is ffs :/)

Sampling Crystal Waters' Gypsy Woman is East London rapper Nick Brewer's Talk To Me featuring Bibi Bourelly. The song peaked at #19 in the UK in late 2015 and is each artists highest charting single to date. Full points to TS0301 and FleetSeb and half points to cantthinkofaname!

Okay yeah that was one of two of the singles that I couldn't recall  I do know that song but I don't think I've ever seen the artwork for it.

Arguably The Killers' biggest hit aside from Mr Brightside, peaking at #3 in the UK. The Day & Age singles all have matching artworks too which is something I only realised recently: Dave Keuning is on this cover for Human, Spaceman was Brandon Flowers, Ronnie Vannucci was The World We Live In, and Mark Stoermer is on the cover for A Dustland Fairytale.

Speaking of The Killers... there's a rate going on right now hosted by yours truly  The deadline is extended a little until tomorrow since I'm obviously busy doing this right now so if you want to join in please do!

Damn at me guessing The Killers for the albums but not for singles  I definitely recognised it but couldn't place the act at all so just took a guess.

I just realised the texture on the 'Human' cover kind of looks like a colourblindness test

(Also I believe I got all the singles except the first one :D)

The best selling single of 2007 in both the UK and Ireland, yes it's Leona Lewis' smash hit Bleeding Love. The song later became an international smash and was again the best selling single of 2008 worldwide, reaching number one in 35 countries, including the US and Australia, making it only the second song in history to achieve this with Elton John's "Candle in the Wind 1997" being the first. A history making song (and just for comparison, Shape Of You only managed to top the charts in 34 countries :P)

A collaboration between two American duos, an Australia duo, and Japanese singer Alisa Ueno - Best Friend is quite the inclusive dance jam. A sort of silent hit really and a song I knew before I really knew it, you know? This is one of the more recent songs here, but not the most recent... ;)

PS: in case you hadn't noticed my "theme" for the singles artworks was "faces". I contemplated making that a bonus question but that was just too easy :kink:

I recognised both of those artists immediately (SOFI TUKKER girl has quite a distinctive happy face) but had to look around a bit to confirm the actual songs.
had never ever ever heard of nick brewer either
Surprised at so many people not getting 'Human', that was one of the very first ones I recognised!!

My mum's least favourite song from her least favourite singer. It's safe to say James Blunt is one of the less liked artists out there, but he knows this and takes many opportunities to take the piss out of himself so I guess that's ok. You're Beautiful is arguably this most cocky song too. I mean the freaking first line is "My life is brilliant"?!?!? A full house here almost, just missing out on Bre who is sane enough to not recognise this songs artwork and Pete who... welll... Jack Johnson.

I recognised it but somehow couldn't remember what it was :(

Ariana's #1 #2 peaking hit single in the UK and her first new release after the horrific attack at her Manchester concert just last year. This became an instant hit across the world (her first #1 in Australia!) as well as on Buzzjack. The song itself is amazing, and the video just takes it one step further
