I enjoyed the video and I understand that this is a 'celebration' song but A Lifetime To Repair is a much stronger track and would slay as a single!
'A Lifetime To Repair' does feel like a single, that stood out to me from hearing it on the Golden Promo Tour, but I can see why it hasn't been released as it's too similar to the other two singles. 'Golden' is a little slower and stripped back in comparison.

I really believe there are much stronger tracks than Golden that should have made the section as a single ahead of Golden and Lifetime to Repair is one of them.

I do agree myself, but I think 'Golden' is one of those tracks that is generally liked by everyone. May not be people's main highlight (although it has been for a lot of people, too) but it's not one that people don't like either so, weighing it together, it makes for a solid single choice.

No sign of this on the Radio 2 playlist for this week either. I'm guessing they're waiting for Kylie's performance on Chris Evans' show on the 15th.
Hopefully it will appear on the playlist after the Chris Evans performance and it may then attract at the least minimal interest.
I think Golden will really help sell the album after the performance and hopefully R2 playlist - not expecting the single to make any sort of impact though.
I accept that outcome as i am not expecting the single to do anything. A Top 100 appearance would likely be the best outcome for the single. That said, it would be great if it helps the album remain in the top 40 for a few extra weeks.
Yeah at this stage I think the best we can hope for is a decent Top 100 showing if they time promo and remixes at the same time or something, but of course it is more the album that should be benefiting and I think airplay could help Golden secure more Top 40 placings.

With the single, it needs to be released with all versions available in the one week as i feel that is the only way it will make the top 100.

This! The only thing Kylie’s team continually seem to get wrong - I’m certain every release would go low Top 40 or at a minimum Top 75 if they dropped the single version, remixes, video and physical in the same week.

Kylie fans have shown they will pay £7 for a vinyl single and they always sell out so not sure why we don’t get a physical for each release - if they actually pressed more than 500 they might actually make some money from them!, that said if unsigned indie bands can release physical albums and singles and presumably make money from them then I’m sure BMG and Kylie can.

It's the fact Kylie team try and sell on limited editions as an incentive for fans to buy. Fans don't care about limited editions they just want them and would buy them even if 10,000 available and not 1000 lol
Sometimes it’s better to have a decent chart run rather than 39-x

But the staggered campaigns for Kylie releases have been proven multiple times not to work - so 39-78 is better IMO than 61-Out-97-out.

This! I don’t care if 2 or 2 million are made as long as I get one! We have had some stupid runs of 500 or 1,500 previously that always sell out immediately, the Sainsbury’s vinyl pressings prove there is a bigger market than the 1,500 - 2,500 pressings they have done.

I kinda agree with this, i like buying regardless especially phyisical releases. I am still all for phyisical single releases from Kylie.
