It would be hilarious if Liverpool continue their streak of being top of the table at Christmas but failing to win the league! Tottenham only 2 points behind Manchester City, it's definitely not a two-horse race for the title and I kind of hope they will be able to do it out of the top 3 but it's not going to happen.

Haha your like me on normal seasons but Liverpool are involved this year!!

They will no doubt fall eventually as I've seen it happen so often :(

Pickford's tackle on Alli, a red card?

For me it was a yellow!

I honestly think Leicester can pull out a surprising result against Manchester City too, be a difficult game for City!
Fantastic performance from us against Huddersfield, I think the fact that Ole Gunnar Solskjær played as a striker is helping the squad a lot right now as the style of football was a lot more eye catching than what we've seen lately. Hopefully we will keep this up, our defending is still poor though. Marcus Rashford was Man Of The Match for me.

Manchester City!!!! :o

Not seen the game but everyone is saying how much they miss Fernandino and the full backs (I mean come off it, they have spent a shed load on full backs ffs!!!). The game against Liverpool is now must-win. And when that happens Pep usually tries something ridiculous out, so I'm fully expecting that come next week.

Spurs creeping up too, but I just can't see it. They have to go to the Etihad, Anfield and Stamford Bridge in the 2nd half of the season as well as contesting a two legged league cup tie and moving stadiums. Stranger things have happened and of course Liverpool have two games back to back where they may drop points, but just can't see Spurs challenging yet.

You were right, Lee.

Man City look leaky in defence, at least we have a title race.not a procession.

City not getting away with Delph at left back this year, why does he always tackle like that??
Liverpool 6 points clear now, means it'll be even more painful when it inevitably falls apart :(
Like they say goals win games but defence wins titles. Pool look immaculate at the moment, city look hopeless without fernandinho. If he doesn't play in the big game on Jan 3rd pool will wipe the floor with them.

Right now the momentum is completely with us though. City look mentally weak and what's even more strange is the fact they are losing the games after going ahead. You could see it in the body language after today, the players were pretty much conceding the title in December - why!? And while full props to Spurs, they are competing in 4 competition, are playing every 3-4 days throughout January and still have to go to Anfield, Etihad and Stamford Bridge. I don't see it myself right now.

Inevitably we are going to have a small blip at some stage and the next two fixtures back to back are going to be difficult, but the fact our defence is playing so well really means we are in with a great shout. The game is going to be must-win for City on January 3rd, going to be a shed load of pressure on both teams.

I want to believe!!

Felipe Anderson is certainly a fine player for West Ham.

One of the signings of the season, cracking player!

Blows hot and cold & had an awful start to prem life but he's blossoming into a payet replacement now.
Think he would do something at a big club to - no disrespect to West Ham, a big club in their own right!

I'd be shocked if a Top 6 Premier League don't come in for him in the summer. I agree he is a little inconsistent, but what players these days are aside from the super giants? Only problem is he would be way, way over priced.

Some of the goals he's scored this season have been amazing, would like Liverpool to go for him! Pereyra the Watford player was another one who has looked excellent this season albeit his form has dipped!

I couldn't see us going for him, we have Shaqiri who is just as good. Plus couped with the price, I just couldn't see it. Suspect he's more likely to end up at Spurs (if they have any money) or Chelsea. Strange really as out of all the big overhyped players the bottom 14 clubs signed from outside of the Premier League, bar Felipe Anderson most of them seem to have been average or have struggled to adapt yet.
