Yeh be nice to see him stay at West Ham though and not make the obvious move across London!

Only in the Prem can a team (Leicester) defeat the last 2 champions back-to-back then lose at home to a team yet to win away

Looks like another title bid bottled for Spurs.

New manager but the same old Arsenal!

Was just utterly naive from them. They caused Liverpool the most problems I've seen any team do this season, but in turn we could easily have scored ten. Crazy game!

Let's hope you continue to be correct in your predictions Grinchy!!

Southampton v city will be a draw tbh

Well City wining at least gives the game on Thursday some major significance now. Liverpool win and I think the title race is all but over, but a City win then it's game back on. I certainly can't see it being as close and cagey as it was at Anfield as City need to win. Like I said, I am expecting Pep to try something ridiculous on Thursday, probably a 1-8-1 or something of that ilk.

Pogba has decided to play again for Man United.

Probably be a 1-0 win to Liverpool when they play Man City.

Another really good performance from us, Ole Gunnar Solskjær is working his magic on the team. I do feel a bit sorry for Mourinho because really the players should always play for the badge no matter who is in charge. I think if results like this are maintained then Solskjær should be given the job permanently, Mike Phelan being the assistant is surely helping as well right now. Tottenham at Wembley in a few weeks time will be a big test but I think we can win if we continue like this.
12 goals in 3 matches. When did this happen last for Man United?

December 2011 I've just read!

First off I'm super happy for Ole, amazing start - yes it was against 3 in the bottom half (and for all intents and purposes we may have won them anyway albeit less convincingly) but he needed this build up ahead of the big games coming up against Spurs & PSG.

Say what you want about some of the players but there's no doubt in my mind they'd stopped trying beforehand. Everybody is quick to sing their praises now but it goes to show we are well below our potential. And I'm certain as soon as something doesn't go quite to plan for whatever reason the usual suspects will show their true colours again.

Still can't keep a clean sheet to save our lives tho

Some really good attacking play, but I would expect that given Mourinho was about as anti-football as they come! That said I hate Mourinho, but to be fair to him, I think he actually called Pogba right. Clear as day he downed tools.

I still think the first time you play a decent side you'll get found out, which may or may not be against Spurs. Really good attacking play, but quite suspect defensively. Reminds me a little bit of Liverpool under Brendan Rodgers right now to be honest. That said you've played yourself in to form and given yourselves a chance at finishing Top 4.

Even a Liverpool win on Thursday I wouldn't say it's all over!

Think avoiding defeat is the order of the day. Be interesting to see how we react to a defeat as well as we haven't had to do that this year yet!

United for the champions league?? Wouldn't be the first time an interim manager with little experience has achieved great things Chelsea 2012 says hello!

Absolutely no chance. PSG will toast them in Paris. They are not strong enough defensively.

As for Liverpool, well history tells us we never make it easy.

If Liverpool win the league this season then they will need to avoid defeat on Thursday as a win for Manchester City would put immense pressure on Liverpool for the rest of the season and it would be a miracle if they didn't let it slip from that point onwards.

Pool win & the title is in the bag I reckon'. 9 points would be a massive mental hurdle for even City to overcome.

As for United impossible to tell whether we'll put up a genuine top 4 challenge, gotta take on a few of the big boys first to gauge progress.

And yeah, PSG will absolutely destroy our defence - the only slight hope we have is if Dave goes into God mode.

Need a miracle!? If City beat us they would need to keep winning every game and hope we slip up at least twice. Even if City do get to the top again, we've seen how fragile they can be. City are going to fly at us on Thursday, but as long as we are maximum of 1 goal down at half-time, I could see us picking up a result.

Man Utd-Spurs will be a big test. Think if Liverpool need a miracle to win the league if they get beat on Thursday, then Man Utd need more than a miracle to gain 8 points on Chelsea!
