Scott Parker has been appointed Fulham manager on a two-year contract.

The former England midfielder, 38, was promoted from first-team coach to caretaker boss in February after Claudio Ranieri was sacked.

He lost his first five games in charge as Fulham were relegated from the Premier League, but then won three of the next four matches.

Herrera is leaving us :cheer: FINALLY!!! Garbage player.

1 down, at least 10 more to go. I'm more excited about who we're getting rid of than who we're bringing in this summer - yes I've adjusted my levels of expectation to that degree now.

I thought he was probably your best midfielder. Mind you, has been clear he was running his contract down purposely for a while now. Lukaku has changed agents, so I think he's a sure-fire to go in the summer.

I don't quite know how to feel about this, Herrera has been a decent player for most of his time at United and the man marking job he did on Eden Hazard really stands out but this season he hasn't been good enough which has been the case for almost all of the squad. It looks like he will join PSG and I did see a rumour about this several weeks ago so it's no surprise that he is leaving.

City ahead. Might win easy now.

But Brighton are still in this as long as they are within 1 goal.

No surprise in that Man City and Liverpool are both winning so far, will there be any late drama?

Oof that is so unlucky for pool tbf, but I'm beyond relieved it's not them lifting the trophy...

A 3-way tie for the golden boot and none of them are city players, I find that even more incredible!!

United signing off the season in style  WHY couldn't Cardiff have beaten palace last weekend, they'd have survived!!!!!

Very disappointing of course, but I always thought Man City would win today, same as Liverpool. Both teams are just far too well coached. To lose out on 97 points is cruel, but that's football. Man City have just won 14 games in a row, which is the 2nd longest winning streak ever. You've just gotta hand your hats off and say they were better, just. The pain of missing out of course is made a lot better by the Champions League final to look forward to. And plus I suspect we'll be there or thereabouts next year as well.

Spare a thought for all the rest of the crazy season madness.

The last laugh though, the gift that keeps on giving.. Manchester United  Give Ole a new contract PLEASE.

No the last laugh is Liverpool going 30 years without winning a league title

You'll be too hard pressed to find many Liverpool fans disappointed though. 97 points is amazing, the spine is there and we'll challenge again over the next 2-3 years. You can laugh now, but 25 years in the future you might be in the same position as us.

He needs another contract though doesn't he? 8 losses since that win in Paris. 2 goals in 5 games. I'm expecting another Moyes level season of hilarity next season. Battle for 6th next year should be great.

If we finish 6th again next season then so be it, I would rather us rebuild our squad completely and sacrifice being higher in the table if it will ultimately lead to us to winning honours again in the future. At least we dont have our emotions played with like Liverpool do, always so much false hope with Liverpool.

I sort of thought that, always thought he was decent and gave his all.
