Summer hits only updates every Friday so hopefully it'll be on there tomorrow! I'm surprised it's still not on hot hits tho :(

I'm really enjoying this and the vocal parts in particular are excellent, although I feel the drop slightly ruins the momentum. The song's been compared a lot to Anywhere and I get the comparisons entirely, but that had such a flowing, euphoric drop, this one feels clunkier. I'm getting used to it with repeated listens though and it's such a cute, lighthearted track.

Agreed in regards to the drops. But I feel like it's done on purpose to avoid plagiarism :lol:

Yeah after rinsing this for a week, I'd consider it a nice enough track but nowhere near the quality of the GD singles. That being said, it sounds incredible in the sun and I'd be genuinely surprised if it doesn't take off, despite the unusually slow start. Here's hoping R1 add it tomorrow.

Disappointing when we consider it started the chart week at number 18.

 

Meh, that’s roughly where I expected when the first midweeks were revealed. Shame we were all so off with our original predictions, but I think everyone was expecting a lot more hype around this. :lol:

I think we were all expecting instant ("straight to B on radio 1" (or at LEAST C) sort of radio support) and a top 2 positioning on New Music Friday, as well as instant Hot Hits UK support. Well, that's how I expected it to go haha.

Yeah it’s not ideal, but all the histrionics about how it’s ‘bombed’ after 1 week (not here, but elsewhere) are wayyy too premature. I still think this’ll be a decent-sized top 10 hit.

I generally love anything Little Mix put their name to, but this isn't essential listening for me (yet.) I'm not surprised it hasn't debuted high, but that's not to say it won't climb (and they deserve another smash so fingers crossed.)

Same. Although I do think it's gonna be a Came Here For Love type hit for them. It's a great way to keep their name out there.

It’s a joint credited single where they’ve filmed a video and I’ll be on (probably just deluxe version of) the album, so it definitely is their first new material in a while. Even if the buzz isn’t as big as usual.

I’m sure it’ll do a lot better than Rise (I hope anyway!) I can’t see it killing momentum like that did. I do think this will pick up and go top 20, I’m just saying it feels a little half arsed in terms of the release.
