May 25, 20187 yr Is BJSC usually that friendly to drum & bass? Unless I've missed something obvious (probably) it's had pretty middling success since Ghost.
May 25, 20187 yr I must admit, a lot of that winner prediction is going off of it doing what Ghost did and the feeling that drum and bass has the potential to be one of the widest-reaching genres in BJSC IF a big song like that shows up, which it does only occasionally. I have what feels like much stronger reasons to discount all of the other contenders than I do Black Church, Aeroche won't get one side of the court excited, Land Of DW won't get another, Cor Lupus and St Burbia don't feel strong enough. Maybe I'm wrong (and if I'm thinking of reasons why songs won't win before why they will that's an indication that this predicting lark is all a sham this month) but that's my gut feeling.

I refer you to my words of wisdom: That Beaverdonia isn't last with ten points is frankly a MIRACLE for them. Terrible song. Being serious here, my personal opinion on it aside, I was very surprised it qualified given the track record of that sound here, and partially put that post out as a testing ground to see if I could unearth any fans to defend it. There weren't any and its plug performance didn't give me anything either, which indicates to me that it scraped through and isn't set to do particularly well, bar hordes of silent fans sitting at their computers giggling. It's not personal, it's just scientific :( and if anything the extra attention will help it, which is the excuse I'm going to use if I'm wrong. and I can't resist
