Really enjoying the album. Don't think it'll remain in my affections as long as Red Flag has but it's still a brilliant listen. After All in particular is so sublime.

Won a competition to meet them later today so just run into HMV to grab a copy as I’d been streaming it up until now - that’s an extra sale :lol:

They performed 'Love Lasts Forever' on 'This Morning' today (although only showed about two minutes of that and 30 seconds of their acoustic performance of 'Pure Shores' to witter on about Non Entity Island). It was a pre-record from a few weeks before as Holly (who's friends with Nicole) and Phillip interviewed them.

 

They also appeared on Build Series LDN on Facebook today (and answered my question too. Yay for me!)

Officially #15 - glad that it held on to the top 15. Deserved so much more of course!

That is a good outcome, they did not fall too much from the original midweek at the start of the week.

I do fear and extra extra large fall next week.

 

 

I think #15 is OK. I kind of knew before this week that it'd be about there anyway.

Not a bad result at all! As I said with 'Red Flag' when that came out anything's better than #40 - and that was for an album on a major label with a much bigger budget ('Studio 1').

 

'Love Lasts Forever' is still on the A list at Radio 2, the album's been Record of the Week all week as well, and with 'After All' being the next single and a slot at the Radio 2 Hyde Park concert in September that should keep interest in the album going and for the tour in December.

Nail on head! Shaznay is such a gifted songwriter, but they all have a great ear for melody and harmony, and the fact they've always worked - for the most part - with K-Gee and William Orbit and now Hutch (who did 'One Strike' on the last album and 'After All' on this new one) has kept their sound consistent.

So pleased this held on to Top 15 - was expecting it to end up at around #26 tbh!

'After All' is fantastic!

 

They've pretty much passed me by this time, but that's the first thing I've heard that has made an impression on me.

Wow what a great song/ video!!

 

It looks and sounds like a classic All Saints track and video too!

They are releasing a new remix of ‘After All’ every Friday for the next 4 weeks - good to get some weekly streams/sales I guess rather than just releasing an EP.
